Yea I don’t agree with that in the slightest. Streamers have far more freedom than most people. Most adults in this day and age operate on a routine this isn’t exclusive to streamers. Your average working adult goes to work 8 hours a day, eats at the same time, sleeps at the same time, watches Netflix/whatever at the same time, goes to the same places on the weekend. It’s all routine and kinda monotonous. If anything streamers have far more freedom. They can take far more breaks than the average working person. The extra work they do offline is usually by choice and their actual free time is much greater. They have more freedom to travel since they aren’t necessarily glued to a location. They have the freedom to do something different everyday content wise and aren’t stuck to one specific kind of work. People with "real jobs" are the ones stuck in boxes.
Yeah it really depends on what kind of streamers/CCs too Idk what the contract & limitations are for corpos, but if a streamer’s indie/from a more relaxed agency like VShojo, there isn’t really a barrier to what kind of personal relationship you can have & show on stream. At least not in a direct contractual sense Otherwise, even if this “monotony” is dictated by the audience themselves, in the long run it’s usually more sustainable to diversify your content (especially if it’s quantity over quality like most streams are) as audiences’ taste & engagement shifts over time
