Me too. I didn’t really like that segment because I’ve had a package stolen off my front step and I assume it was a similar situation because I don’t live in a really high traffic area.

I am shocked how much the "on the road" segments have made me decide that the TryPod is my favorite out of all of the company's podcasts. This is one of the biggest cultural upsets in recent history

I’m only 7 minutes in but have to say. I get you guys think following this driver was good goofy fun, but if you try this again just tell the driver bro. You probably had that man terrified. The fact He checked to see if you were following him hit with me, that’s how I was taught to check; signal one way turn the other to see if they do the same. He knows he’s literally carrying probably hundred of thousands dollars worth of packages, wondering if his truck is going to be hijacked and if he’ll have to defend himself. Imagine if this was a female driver how the time would shift. Idk I don’t find this cute at all.
Agreed! My father in law is a UPS driver. They have to deal with safety issues EVERY DAY. If this happened to him I would be LIVID. That portion was NOT funny.
On a separate but similar note, I've been followed by people in my car after denying a group of underaged college students alcohol when I worked at Walmart. It's absolutely terrifying when you realize that someone is following you.

I work at a juice bar that makes juices and smoothies and I have to explain the difference all the time so that made it even funnier for me lol
I think Miles secretly started a courier service so he can make a little money on the side by running errands while plogging, and no one is the wiser. He gets paid for making the podcast, paid for the delivery service, and scores free food on the company card. Definitely a Win/Win/Win for the most perfect person in the whole wide world.

I started work late because I went to the dentist this morning, and I always get myself a treat after the dentist. I pull up to my desk to watch something while I eat my McDonalds, and to my surprise, I see the boys are eating McDonalds too. I love strange coincidences. They're going to be sad they didn't share a cinnamon roll, though. That was delightful.

Pretty sure the hash browns aren't actually vegan treats--they contain beef flavor, like the fries. Though Zack isn't vegan for ethics, just health, so it's probably fine for him. For a real vegan treat at US McDonald's, try the apple pie! I dont fault minimum wage employees for not knowing the dietary info of every item they offer, but its frustrating and potentially dangerous when a customer is told that a specific product contains no animal products but in fact, it does.

They contain beef flavor that contains both wheat and dairy 😢 same with the fries. I would be wrecked if someone accidentally gave me dairy. This is why I trust no one lol.

Ok but seriously. Miles is absolutely accurate on the scissors. I use them for EVERYTHING. Need to cut up some chicken? Scissors. Pizza? Scissors. Salads? Definitely scissors. (Small diced/minced things need knife)

The talk about people going really hard and not being able to swallow their pride reminded me of something my therapist told me (it was generally about anxiety, but I feel like it can apply here to), when you get worked up or triggered imagine it being like a snow globe being shaken and the snow starting to stir around. If your reaction is to panic or go harder on your anger, fear, etc. you will essentially keep shaking up the globe, and the snow will not settle. If you instead take a breath and give yourself a moment, the snow will settle, and the situation will be calm again.

Speaking about formulation changes (I love the protein powder story), just wait until you have kids and companies indescribably change baby stuff and make it smell bad, or add to a of chemicals!
I hate when a product that been happy with for long time says "improved" I don't recall any product where that was true! I noticed that especially in hair care and makeup.
Dietitian here for the fiber question, when you blend fruit/vegetables you break down fiber matrix and make the sugars more accessible. Is it better than juicing where all the fiber is removed? Yes. But you do get less of the stool bulking and gut fermentation benefit when the fiber is broken down so small.
Guys, please look into allegations against Better Help. I understand if you have a long term contract with them, which you may not be able to get out of. But so much stuff has come out about them being a crummy company, especially since they sell their customers health information. Please reconsider working with them (if you can).

i hate to be this person, but nothing at mcdonald’s is vegan except for the things pointedly sold as vegan, like the mcplant. both the fries & the hash browns contain “natural beef flavoring” & dairy. i’m not sure why they lied to you but they did y’all a little dirty.

Getting a chicken biscuit and slapping a hash brown in that baby is 👌 amazing. Highly recommend. I feel like a lot of people in Cali don't know that a chicken biscuit is an option since it's not outright on the menu, but I get it whenever I'm at McDonald's for breakfast.
To simplify a macro like protein and say "yeah if you're not working out protein becomes fat" is so bs and incredibly irresponsible of y'all. Human bodies need protein to function properly; it needs all macros to *function properly* Our organs need protein, our muscles need protein, whether you're in the gym "bulking" or not. Please be more mindful about not spreading harmful shit.
Yes, this! I'm sure they believed what they were saying was true, but the creatine/protein conversation was way off base. People need protein, and to imply that protein isn't necessary for more sedentary people and will cause weight gain is both incorrect, and can lead to poor diet decisions for people listening that don't know better.
