Dan A is a great tour guide. I love my Progression Integrated amp - such high quality. I admire the testing and shaking process.

Yeah the shaker table and the story about the contraption that literally walked the Amp a flight of stairs were many of the highlights for me.
      I’ll upload part two tonight.

      Thanks for watching Jeff.
You organized the last one but I had nothing to with this one. I’ve done more than enough for The Club in the past two years.
Might as well make me President next year. I still have to officially put my name on the “Ballot”. 😂

@@puciohenzap891 In North America that is a bit of the case... but if you go outside of the United States in Europe and Asia you see far more young people, families, men, and women at audio shows.

I'm 55 and I'm one of the "Youngsters". No arguement, we need "fresh meat" in our Club and we are getting more "fortysomethings" joining. When I go to the shows (CAF this weekend), more young people are gaining interest. My problem is the "bearded ones" who shovel "Vinyl is the Best" and Digital is "inferior" are not helping the cause. And then there's Chi-Fi. Hell, I could do a Video on the topic but it's been done to Death.

Sold them last week. Moving on to Electrostatics. Final-Audio Model 15. I have my Bose 901/McIntosh MC50 rig up and running again. Re-did the EQ fo rthe 1st time in over 4 years and what a difference. I miss the Cornwalls but the 901's have never sounded so good. Working on a Video for it. Coming soon.

I think you made the right move, but maybe down the road you might take a look at the Harbeth 40.2 or 3 series of speakers. They are my total end game speakers…just sayin!😀

Why his present amps being only class AB,using relatively cheap surface mounted components/automated soldering-(important regarding the life of SMD capacitors) are so idiotically expensive?Looks like another enterprise to fail.

      What the Fuck Dude ?
He's using SMT components in his DAC's and some line level stuff. I asked that question but he uses mostly throughole components in general.
Also I worked in Electronic Engineering and Manufacturing for 20 years ! I worked on mostly SMT based circuits in the RF Industry. Also, I and anyone else show you doing a TDR Measurement that SMT components transition better on a PCB than do throughole. And you can get better tolerance components using SMT that you can using throughhole.
BUT on critical Audio Path components. I agree with you that throughole Caps (and maybe some Resistors should be used).
Also Printed Circuit Board Audio Designs are ALWAYS more reliable, easy to work on, less noisy than any throughole point to point wired Piece of Shit that's out there !
JoeyG Out....Thanks for watching and your Support...
      🤣
