Frida chats with fans at ABBA Voyage premiere 26 May

Unseen rare ABBA footage. Frida chats with fans! I was so lucky to be in the right place - I had gone outside to get some fresh air before the big performance started. The show blew me away, I had no idea the technology was that advanced! My fave bit of course was seeing all 4 together. Travelled 11,000 miles and spent about $8000 for this one night, the highlight of my ABBA fandom - totally worth it!! (Ok, that cost includes several tickets to ABBA show we’re seeing several times!) Big thanks to ABBA, I think this is a fitting part of their musical legacy. Also big thanks to Ludvig and Svana and Baillie Walsh - for persevering through all the stress of launching such a groundbreaking show during covid. You pulled it off!! (Managed to give Svana our precious Kanga - toy kangaroo - we’d brought specially to be their office mascot as a big thank you for the show. Without the show, there would have been no new ABBA album and no reunion!!) Also: I was wearing the Frida yellow cat outfit which is why Frida gave me a flash of a smile. Little did I think many years ago (when I spent a week hand-painting that outfit in my little kitchen and living on porridge so I wouldn’t stain it) that one day Frida herself would see it and it would bring a smile to her face.
