Wow, you can really photo! As a Guangzhou local I never found that my city is so fascinating. Thanks for your sharing! Sadly Guangzhou has rained for half a month and it's non-stoping, can only see the city below blue from your video now.
This is the monsoon season in South China. You were lucky for having such a clear blue sky. There had been very heavy downpour recently. Wish you good luck weatherwise. Enjoy your trip. A few weeks in China is never enough.
beautiful video, story telling and editing. I always love seeing China videos as it brings back memories of me in 2010 going to Guangzhou for 3 months. sadly wasn't into photography like i am now but seeing people capture stunning visuals and expressing the joy traveling around is amazing. look forward to Ep 3 Scott
Love your videos and photos in China, so amazing, hope your channel will have more fans, you deserve this!❤❤❤love from China. PS: Your wife is really beautiful !!
Hope you enjoy your day in China! Your videos are really amazing!Plus, have wonderful photography equipment! There are many great places in China and you should travel to other cities in China!
Love this video.Your shoot is so great. I can tell that you have found the beauty of GZ from the video.Walking 35000steps in a day that’s so hard for me. Anyway welcome to China welcome to GZ 😊
I come from Guangzhou, welcome to Guangzhou, you should stay more time in GZ,because lots of delicious food and marvelous buiding waiting for your to discover
nice vlog with some very professional shots. if I could make a couple suggestions, could be longer 😄 with more narration. I assume you got at least one of the payment apps going. with that you can rent a bike and that's really the best way to see a city, away from the busy center.
Thanks so much for watching and for your feedback. This video was short because I only had 1 day in Guangzhou but they do get better, I promise 😅 I’d love to visit China again soon, the country blew me away
Seems you did some research and know how to pick the destinations. I guess you wouldn't have enough time to travel to the west part of China on this trip. Looking forward to your next adventure and wish you enjoy your stay in China.
Thanks so much for watching. A lot of planning went into this 2.5 week trip but the further I travelled the more I realised I missed out. I really cant wait to go back and explore in depth more. Some of the places I have saved for the East look wild.
@@scott_howes yeah. Beyond the cities, the natural view of China is also epic, it has all different kinds of landscape, cultural and religious places, etc. Anyway, enjoy the moment and plan for the next. 😁
@@canalesjuan356 I visited some of the craziest landscapes i've seen in China. Next time I visit I really would like to head further west too, it looks crazy. This trip was such a great introduction to an amazing country

the video quality is impeccable! don't know how to explain, there is some kind of smoothness quality in it, it's not blurry don't get me wrong, but dreamy...did you put some kind of filter on your camera to have this effect? its a joy watching it on my MBP!
Super interesting, Scott. Looks like you’re doing a similar route to the one I did 26 years ago when I left school! Guangzhou seems like a completely different place! Looking forward to Yangshuo - somewhere I’d love to go back to. I wonder if the “Fawlty Tower” backpackers hostel is still there?
Thanks for watching, this episode wasn’t the best because of limited time in Guangzhou but they do get better I promise 😅 I bet China was a completely different place 26 years ago, how cool! After a quick google it looks like the fawlty towers hotel is still in Yangshuo 😬 Looking forward to sharing more
Perhaps you can also take more photos of food, which is also a representative of a city. From Guangzhou to Beijing, you will find that there will be significant differences between the two regions :)
Absolutely, 6 more videos to come from across my trip to China, lots of food too😬 I love how each region has a dish they are known for. Thanks so much for watching
