One of the best mechanics I’ve seen with a great grasp of the fundamentals, a wealth of experience, and the intelligence to digest it all and present it in an entertaining, understandable way. A rare talent and much appreciated. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rich get 500k+ subs. Much appreciated!

Man that thing was groady inside! Great job👍🏻
Have an old fs 55 that's cherry inside. I mean still visible machining marks on the ring! Anyway, after 3 attempts cleaning its carb and still having a terrible part throttle bog, I gave up and made a visit to my local stihl dealer to order a new carb figuring it'd be in the $40 range... $87 after tax!😳🤣 went home and ordered an aftermarket one for $20. Willing to take that gamble🤞🏻

You are the king of funny 1 liners -
“ you can ask the butcher what the steak is like, or you can stick your head up the bull’s a…”
“dry as a pop corn fart”
    “Slicker than mino (?)”
    LOL

Better lucky than good. I've had saws that took me a while to figure out what the picky bastard needed to run right.

Awesome video! I’d love to see you do a video on how you use the Stihl tool to split the case sometime

My 460 has a goofy idle too. Cleaned the carb twice now.

The Walbro HD carbs are good carbs in general. They do go bad tho. Always a good idea to pressure and vacuum test the crankcase for leaks that may give the same symptoms.

Nice video. Agree the OEM gasket kits are a great value considering the PTO seal can be 20 something bucks. Just got an MS 441set for $26 bucks with free shipping. Keep up the great work. 👍

I have a Poland chainsaw, have fire, put fuel in the cylinder and no pop off happens. Check the fly wheel key and it is good. Does anyone have any suggestions what it might be I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Do you have: 1) sufficient cylinder compression, or 2) any leaks as indicated from a pressure/vacuum leak down test?

Rich we trust your work. We know of a few that have your ported saws, nothing but praise. If I had a rebuild, I would not mind paying for your expertise.😄😁🙂😋💪
    Happy and safe cutting. 🪓🪓🪓🌲🌲🌲🌞🌞😚🥲
