- The Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid issue in Ayodhya, India, is a complex and historically significant controversy that dates back several centuries. The dispute revolves around a religious site where both Hindus and Muslims claim ownership. The controversy gained prominence in the late 20th century, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) played a crucial role in using the Ram Temple movement to mobilize support.
he BJP, a right-wing political party in India, played a significant role in using the Ram Temple movement to mobilize support among Hindus. The party, along with affiliated organizations like the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), actively campaigned for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site. The BJP strategically used the Ram Temple issue to unite Hindus under a common cause, framing it as a matter of faith and cultural identity. This helped the party garner support from various sections of the Hindu population. n 1990, BJP leader L.K. Advani led a Rath Yatra (chariot procession) across the country to garner support for the construction of the Ram Temple.
The yatra was accompanied by widespread communal tensions and played a crucial role in mobilizing public sentiment in favor of the temple. On December 6, 1992, a large mob, including BJP supporters, demolished the Babri Masjid. The event led to nationwide riots and further polarized communities along religious lines.
The BJP's involvement in the Ram Temple movement had political ramifications. The party gained significant electoral success in subsequent years, with its leaders often emphasizing their commitment to building the Ram Temple. In 2019, the Supreme Court of India finally resolved the dispute by awarding the disputed land to Hindus for the construction of a Ram Temple. The court also allocated an alternate piece of land to the Muslim community for the construction of a mosque.
In this Video I will discuss how the BJP effectively used the Ram Temple movement to consolidate Hindu votes and establish itself as a major political force in India. The controversy, however, has left a lasting impact on communal relations in the country.

There are many countries who have thought that hospital and education is only important and there is no need for religion in society. They have become society which only survives on financial transactions. They initially became morally bankrupt , there is total degradation in family system, everything is driven by motive of profit, the same education which was nearly free in religious society becomes so expensive that many young girls and boys who have left their family and live alone sell their body to pay for collage education .Mind it traditions are social experiments which have actually worked in society and they keep on evolving from time to time.
