One thing that most people haven't noticed about the Rattler HASLAB, is that it in all likelihood, we will get the Rattler sooner than we've gotten the HISS and Dragonfly.
The HISS and Dragonfly both had 3 figures in render phase with one in production sketch phase. The Dragonfly was slightly ahead in that Wild Bill was already in the prototype stage. The Rattler has ALL figures and vehicle well past the prototype stage. At this point they'll have already sent in the color maps. They've probably already received prototypes that are full color with paint apps. IN other words, the Rattler was farther along in production when it was announced and revealed than the previous two HASLABs. Therefore, it should ship sooner or....at least on time. :)
Never saw it having that number given the midway point pace slowing considerably. The first one I’ve ever backed….
I'm definitely not excited about the wait for it but overall pretty excited. They didn't charge me until 9am this morning so I was worried it didn't go through like they usually charged right after the campaign ended after midnight.
I was low-key hoping for a surprise 4th figure at the 23,000 backers mark. Let me explain my reasoning... 9,000 + 2,000 = 11,000 (1st tier) / 11k + 3k = 14k (2nd tier) / 14k + 4k = 18k (3rd tier). Therefore 18k + 5k = 23k (surprise tier?) That obviously did not happen.. I was not aware of the G.I. Joe Classified prior to Nov 2023. So I missed out on the previous 2 G.I. Joe Classified HasLabs. Both of them ended with 4 figures. Since this was my first backing, I felt a bit... cheated with the patches and no fourth figure. After seeing the side-by-side comparison between the Rattler and other vehicles, I do appreciate how much more it will cost to make. But still... what the heck am I going to do with the feaking patches!?
I certainly would have liked to have had four figures instead of just three.
But we got the sexy Baroness, so I'm sufficiently satisfied.
I regrettably didn't back this, but am okay with that as I did back the Dragonfly and can't wait for whenever that comes in. My brother backed this, so I certainly can't wait to live vicariously through him as he will through me with the Dragonfly. Really excited to see this one backed.
So, there are only 28k of them in the world now, these will be worth every penny. I only funded one due to the space, my apartment isn't big enough for the massive Cobra army I have atm.
I had to back out Sunday due to life’s unenjoyable surprises…was the hardest thing to do…backed the other projects and been collecting faithfully….really put perspective on the plastic though while at the same time going through the whole fomo…if I didn’t cancel, would’ve proved I have a problem…sux so much to miss out….hope you all enjoy !!
fear not my friend, i know ebay prices can be evil, but with the right timing, and understanding of both parties, i know you'll get one at a good deal down the line. don't let the fomo discourage you 🙏
Yeah, I missed out on the Haslab HISS when that happened back in 22, and had to go the eBay route. So after paying $540 for it I said never again! If you want this bad boy when this drops hit eBay-it ain’t gonna be cheap but I will be worth it! Let us know how make out!
I got the full HISS tank offering with all tiers for $489 shipped off ebay. I got the transformers Victory Saber haslab for $230 shipped. My advice is to figure out the range you are willing to pay, start saving up when you are able to, and when they hit eBay, be patient for your price. The price you want might be available right away, or it might take a little bit. There will still be hope to get one for a decent price if you want one.
So excited for this!! Too bad they didn't throw in a "free" Cobra Ground crew figure at the end, but...
Given these numbers and the track record for GI Joe vehicles, these really shouldn’t be haslabs or crowdfunded projects anymore. Retailers and specialty will carry them and they’ll be able to sell more at a better price.
They should do a 199-240 price point test like the TF Titan Class. Maybe pulse/fan channel exclusive.
I been sayin. Asslabs are sorry excuses for more money while they do less cause they know no matter what they will be funded/bought
Issue will be that they will skimp down on whatever they put with it. You will have no additional figures and limited number of blast effect or switchable armament. Also the flight stand goes bye bye and lights nope. It will be like the VAMP but bigger vehicle. And for a VAMP or the Ferret that is okay. Not for a Rattler or Dragonfly.
Watch the irony of the patches be that they'll be worth a lot of money years from now because everyone threw them away.
Every collector keeps the box. And they will be mint inside. Probably be worth 1 dollar each. I think the clips for the plastic rifles will be more expensive.

Damn Shark, I can't believe I almost forgot to back this Haslab, I was going to back it anyways but waited for some reason and thankfully Hasbro keeps sending emails to remind me so that helped. Am I happy that I am getting this vehicle, I guess so. To me Shark, I am more about the figures than the vehicles even though the vehicles play a huge part in what G.I. Joe is all about. I haven't even opened my HISS Tank yet, it is still sitting in my closet collecting dust as I was basically wanted the figures from that Haslab as well. I am however excited to get the Dragonfly, that will be coming right out of the box when I get it, most likely to hang on my ceiling. Of the three Haslabs so far, the Dragonfly was my favorite, followed by this one (even though we are getting those shitty patches), and then the HISS Tank. Now if they do a Killer W.H.A.L.E. Haslab I would be more than excited.

I wasnt expecting 28k. I initially thought 26k. Was also surprised i didnt get charged until 1130 local time. Usually its right when it ends. I was beginning to think something went wrong.
The Dragonfly was the only Haslab that I backed, though I did pick up a sealed Skystriker later. I might eventually pick up this and the HISS. I might be the only person who’s the least excited about the Cobra vehicles. I for sure will pick up the Joe vehicle Haslabs. Though, I would be extremely tempted if the Moray was ever released as a Haslab. Now hopefully, next year’s Joe Haslab will be the WHALE!

How can you not be excited about Cobra vehicles. Wow. I as a kid loved them for their wacky look. With the Rattler though being the most common looking one. But just look at a Trouble Bubble and don't tell me its not a fun silly looking thing. I can't wait for them to do a Buzz Boar. And it looks like we will get the Fang. I got the smaller version
@@dgray3771 I just always preferred the “real” looking vehicles. Cobra’s vehicles were just too “ out there “ for me. The less realistic they got over the years, the less I liked them. The Rattler was a tougher pass than the HISS, though. Probably not a shock at this point, but I was never a fan of the cartoon either. 😂 It was was too goofy.
Not really excited. But my FOMO has diminished for now.
I actually hope that they ease off on the Joe Haslabs for a while.
I put myself in debt to get the Hiss, Dragonfly and Rattler.
Just do some retail vehicles and give us a chance to save our money.
Good for the Rattler.. I bet LESS actual people backed it than the hiss or DF. I think 18 months from now, you’ll see a FLOOD of ppl trying to sell XTRAS online. I think a lot of ppl bought additional ones feeling they will get rich on them. (Just my opinion… we’ll know in 18 months)

I think the two things I am waiting to see are first, what are the patches going to go for, they'll be tons of them, so I think maybe $10 a patch. And second, the figure price. I think Weasel and Baroness about 60 to 80? The gunner around 40 to 50?
They'll be readily available at the dollar store. 1 buck a piece.
That baroness figure is gonna be on ebay immediately for $150! Whole haslab seald is gonna be between $600 and $800! Hopefully no one actually pays those prices and those a**holes get stuck with them. 😈
with 28,000 backers, how do they future-justify needing to do Haslabs instead of Pre-Orders?
If they calculated 28K sold from the beginning, the price point would have dropped to $225. This means that, on average, we're overpaying by $100. And they can keep the patches.

I know we overpaid and when I comment about it, the Has-Bros come and talk about tooling.

@zartanicus Ace of Ramen is so transparent about the cost of tooling and unit pricing, and to see his price point for similar items is really eye-opening. Hasbro should forget the tiers and provide the base offering. The incentive should be the more units sold, the cheaper it is for everyone.

I’m a little angry at hasbro went on vacation this week and knew about rattler ending funding which was fine but a day later noticed they had taken out even more money out of my account didn’t even send me a notification had to call them had to call them and found it was for the steel corps commander two pack plus bbts sent me notification that the retro cobra troopers were coming now I’m broke
