There's no real explanation- other than MC somehow slipping into various dimensions. If you pay attention he meets all the Dokis twice (except Yuri) and one of them is something fantastical (bunny girl, vampire, money and wallet, ghost) which no one else remembers.

To think, what started out as a horror visual novel with lots of 4th wall breaks would create such a large fanbase that creates modded versions of the game and fan animations like these.
