But invisible index will be keep updated by oracle server on applicable statements like INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE. I have one question on this. In Unusable index if actual index is dropped from physical memory then what we are rebuilding? Or it's just index for new data will be dropped?

When you rebuilt the index you can actually see the cost was increased by 1. Is it something that usually happens or is it just a session thing, I mean in the next session it will work effectively?? Nice vdo btw

Invisible index is maintained in the background for every single data change, so as soon as we make it visible it will be used in the query plans again( only if it adds value)
