    Another great review Wes. I actually think we will have a lot of use for that - we test a lot of gear where I want to give info on the charge time and now I can just use this for anything that charges with USB - I am getting one :)

      One thing I glossed over in the video is just how Smoothly this operates. All other multi usb c devices I've used in the past appear to share charge controllers, so every time you plug and unplug one thing, the rest of it goes haywire. With this device it all acts quite independently, and incredibly reliably.

    just realised there are 3 variant of it POWER 200, POWER 200H,POWER 200X... so yours are normal POWER 200 right?

    • @WesPerry
      @WesPerry  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, I have the plain 200, and the other two came out soon after this video, which is annoying haha. Basically the H gives you more power on one port, and the X gives you the Max power usb-c can currently do on one port.

      @ulyssessait ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WesPerry the other two are quite expensive. I think I just settle with plain 200. 65watt is quite more than enough for current devices.. thanks man.

      Yeah, there really aren’t many use cases for more than 65W that I can think of, aside from fast charging a 16” MacBook While heavily using it.

    thanks for the insight..definitely worth considering...Wes what's the main difference between this and the "newest" one the ISDT Power 200X?..thank you

      The X allows one output to go to 140W. There’s also an H variant that does 100W on a single output. Then the base model is max 65W on each output.

    I hooked up my macbook air m2 and it says it's connected but not charging. I also tried the original charge cable (that hooks up to the charger via usd-c) and it simply says "battery not charging". Any ideas?

    • @WesPerry
      @WesPerry  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Have you paired it with a phone and installed any firmware updates yet?

    • @WesPerry
      @WesPerry  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, it can sometimes take an Apple silicon MacBook a Long time to handshake with a third party usb pd device (which is annoying).
      They start at 5V, then 9, then 12, then finally 20, and sometimes that takes five seconds, sometimes five minutes.
      It’s been the case with every charger I’ve tried aside from the Apple one.

  • @La4edimension

    Can it charge an apple watch or galaxy watch?

    • @WesPerry
      @WesPerry  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know how galaxy watches charge, but it can’t natively do an Apple Watch no.

      If you hook up the apple watch charge cable, you are good to go

    Thanks for the info and plan to buy one to use with my NP2 and NP2 Air but Amazon has three models. A Power 200, 200H, and 200X but can’t tell what is different about them. Do you know? Help me out if you can. Thank you.

    • @WesPerry

      Basically just different max power outputs. Since releasing this video about the 200 (which also goes by 200W) which has a max output of 65W on any one port, they came out with:
      200H that has one output that can go to 100W
      200X which has one port that goes to 140W

      @@WesPerrydecided to get the H version which I realize also comes with a 100W USB-C to USB-C cable and is only $10 more which is the typical price of any 100W cable. The X comes with a 140W cable.

      @@ldmndz4652 depends whether or not you have need of a 140W output. The standard has a max of 65W on all usb ports.
