  • Marzieh's world was messed up. Her husband, an addict, had sold their house and left them homeless and destitute. The rented house they found, a meager shelter, was hijacked by a heartless landlord, leaving them stranded with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Having nowhere else to turn, they took shelter in the unforgiving arms of the mountains.
Marzieh and her children together, their souls bruised but unbroken, built a temporary tent. They huddled together for warmth, sharing meager rations and drawing strength from each other's love. But the mountain, a fickle mistress, gave them only a temporary reprieve. One day, a furious storm descended, whipping winds and torrential rain tearing apart their fragile shelter. They were forced to flee, seeking shelter under a massive rock, their dreams of a safe haven washed away by the relentless rain.
As the storm raged, a woman appeared with a harsh face and a cold voice. "This is my land, you must go!" he said. Marzieh and her children obeyed with a heavy heart and with every step their hope faded.
Desperate Marzieh remembered an old friend, a kind soul named Ali. He sought her out, his voice shaking as he recounted his woes. Ali, a compassionate man, listened patiently and his heart was heavy with sympathy. "Come, my house is small, but as long as you need it, it's yours," he said.
Marzieh and her children were overwhelmed with gratitude. They moved to the house of Haqeer Ali (AS) and were comforted by his generosity. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Marzieh, the ever resourceful woman, wished to find a way to repay Ali's love.
One day, Ali proposed to Marzieh. He said: "I have a field, will you and your children help me harvest it?" Marzieh, whose spirits were ignited by the opportunity to participate, readily agreed.
Ali led them to Maidan, a vast and fertile land. Marzieh and her children worked tirelessly, their hands calloused, their bodies tired, but their hearts filled with new purpose. As dusk fell, long shadows on the ground, they returned to Ali's house, their bodies tired but their spirits high.
That evening, when Marzieh watched her children sleep, she felt calm. The path ahead was uncertain, but he had found refuge in Ali's kindness and in his children a source of unwavering strength. They had faced adversity and emerged, not broken, but with a renewed determination to create a better future, one small step at a time.
