I felt like Ninja Kamui should've been just a basic revenge story, focusing on Higan, with each "boss mech fight" taking around an episode to finish (obviously including better animation throughout). Even if it was basic, but had great fight moments similar to John Wick then the show would've been really good.
The story had an interesting concept where the future of ninjas was unknown, so they start evolving too with technology, but unfortunately much of it wasn't executed well. One of my biggest gripes with it was the fact that a story about revenge that should be centered around Higan just wasn't.
Definitely agree with you. I think the evolution concept of the ninjas in this story was really cool but the path they chose could have been better ( I just don’t know how I got no ideas on that lol).
But I thought the story was going to be about Higan getting his revenge which started like that but it spiraled into more .
Season 2 got confirmed as soon as the season ended so will see if it gets better 👀

The possible route was making slim machine so that ninja + mecha can used without overpowering other

Completely agree with you. If the models of the machines were smaller and less clunky it would have changed everything. Plus since the tech is supposed to be advanced then it could have been a smaller model for the suit lol.
