Those sellers from the auction should be ashamed of themselves, for misleading you on the dresser. You are reclaiming your chateau, one project at a time.👏
Love the background conversation at the secondhand furniture place. "How much is the dog?". "He's priceless and not for sale." Followed by, "that said, he'll follow whoever feeds him, so..."! 😊
Those guys are a treasure. What they work on they do so a good job. They are so faithful. You have to thank God for getting them. For this time we are I am so happy you are so lucky to have them.
August 12, 2022 - - the anniversary of Chateau de Borie becoming yours Abbey! Almost two years later your sign is up and the Chateau is shining bright. You are a strong steward for preserving this beautiful home, and keeping it's spirit alive!
Congratulations that you can now stay for 4 years!! I can't get over how the mountain of rock has been cleared., it looks amazing and will be so much safer! The Mayor and township should be happy now. I don't think it is right that you have to carry the brunt of this rock wall. ☹
Hi Abbie, is it only 2 years??? I’ve been here from the start but it seems many more years than that! Your sign is Perfect. I can’t even Watch the climbers ! Makes my stomach hurt🫢. Those blue chairs were beautiful, great color. You have so much more land than I thought! Seeing it from above, beautiful view but scary walking. Tomas is really a godsend. He can do so much and I would trust his advice. Amazing how much you have accomplished in 2 years. You are my Hero! ❤❤❤
Never realized how huge that tree is. How magnificent!! Gold fish needs a friend. You’re doing such an incredible job on this place. Congrats for getting the 4 yr visa too. Love watching this unfold!! ❤
Tomas is the renaissance man for sure! It was a lucky day when you met him. I love when he changes from jack of all trades, to ' Chevalier Tomas' at your events. Truly a knight of the realm. I bet there are a lot of ladies out there who have a big crush on him. I selfishly hope he stays with the channel, I just love his smile and his work/play aspect..
Up top of the cliff where the privat was cut you can take dead waste limbs n branches and weave them horizontally within the privat to create a dead hedge fence 😊
Wow, you have had a very full week! Lovely to see progress in any form. It’s great dead branches cleaned out of the tree and have the side of the hill cleaned all that brush off. It looks really nice and opens up to yard. It’s lovely to see how quaint and homey feeling to the yard. Your sign looks beautiful at the front of your gate having progress in the house with the wallpaper being stripped off, and the walls being skimmed, thank you for taking us to the Antique market. Lovely to see that your goldfish survived and is thriving. Even progress in your bathroom.❤ Thank you so much for sharing Abby. Have a great week. Congratulations on your license.🎉
I suggest using “Howard’s restore a finish” on your dresser. I have used it on antique dressers and wardrobes like yours. Easy, not a stripper. Thins out existing finish and covers water spots and even some scratches with existing finish. Can really make it look fresher.
Abby, the cleaned-off cliff face is absolutely gorgeous! Don't regret the vines; they'll be growing back with a vengeance in no time :) The little cave/cottage is so adorable. I do think it all looks SO much better!
The exact words I was thinking when you were stripping wall paper. “So satisfying”. You are doing such a great job tackling all the prs. Wish I could help. My two favorite things. Pulling weeds and stripping wall paper!
Poor little Chloe exhausted after stripping all that wallpaper off ❤😊 You have a good taste in colours for the bedrooms, but you’re an artist. I’m fascinated as to what you are going to finish the cottage floor with. I love your Chateau sign.
Hi Abbey, I always wait for your Sunday videos! I would like to say the sign is a good height. The name divides the pillsr into roughly 1/3 below and 2/3 above. Always fall back to the golden rule when in doubt. You're amazing! 😊
I wait til Sunday every week to see the chateau progress. I truly can’t believe how much you have done since day one! It is so impressive. I feel like a snail after I watch you. However I did build a studio in my basement since I saw how if you dream it , it can be done. Thank you for your great videos.
I'm always amazed at what a little spit and polish can do for these older pieces without a full refinish. Regarding the screws going through the drawers, you could melt some wax and place it over the ends and let it harden. It would keep the points from catching your clothing.
Love seeing the guys clearing the cliff of ivy, etc. The bathroom vanity will look amazing lovely sink too. I can’t believe someone used those screws for the drawer. I’m afraid I’ve been bitten like that I just assumed things will be ok, but others just don’t care
A big Congratulations on your Visa for 4 years now that's a fet on it's own to get that u doing something 100% right , Visa's are never just a walk in the park 👏💓 . Funny how Mr Goldfish has been hiding away in that pool all that time . I've brought Antiques from Auctions before like live Auctions and been court out , but that Chest of Drawers look pretty ok on video shame someone drilled the screws all the way through tho u have to take them all off and put them back on , filling all the holes up of where the old screw holes were just another job . I think I saw the other one u liked in a video u posted it was stunning . Great cliff cleanup love the little house with the windows at the top very cute . Great video . ❤😊
I have to be honest, old furniture and fabric creeps me out unless it is a table or chairs with no upholstery. That cliff wall cleared looks gorgeous! I have never seen a sink like the one in your bathroom. I would paint the room with the mustard bed a dark green with strong yellow undertones-the room has plenty of light. Congrats on your 4 year Visa! ❤️❤️
Your chateaux and surroundings are so picturesque ! And you have accomplished so much ! Congrats on the 4 yr visa, whew ! I love your videos and the progress you're maling ! Well done !
Abby, lol, I thought the same thing when he was up in the tree. I’d end up slicing through the rope and plummet to my death! I give those guys so much credit for doing such a dangerous job. Your bathroom sink looks great. The bathroom is nearly finished, yay! The wall and the building in the cave look so different but now you can keep control over any undermining that might present itself. I love the sound of the water fountain. I think you need some more goldfish so they keep the mosquito population down. Good job on removing the wallpaper. ❤
Oh my goodness,. I used to live in Belgium and Germany in the late 90’s and early 2000’s! So wish I could be there to help you brocante and decorate your chateaux! I used to be really good at it! I love your Sunday videos so much! Thank you so much for sharing!💕
I’m sorry but that is one of the better license pictures I have ever seen! You look beautiful! Wow those guys are going great work! I wanted to know will someone be putting netting or something around the cliff area to contain falling debris? Take care ! ❤
Beautiful bathroom sink! You have gathered an impressive team to work on the "Chateau." The green sign would look great and be easier to see in the dark if you backlit it with a strip of LEDs. I know that would be one more thing. To learn more French each tool's spot in the cave can be labeled in English and French. Tomas is gold!
Wow. So much going on. The cliff looks so much better cleared, and you also have an amazing view from the top of it now. Also so glad to see that black spotted wallpaper down!!
Bought a dresser missing marble top from Goodwill. When cleaned up it looked so good we decided our original plan would not do justice. A marble offcut from a local company, beautiful veining, very happy with result, $250 U.S.. That sink wow. Totally envious.
Wow what transformation of the inside and outside on the cliff amazing Abby instant gratification good progress ! You will be happy when cliff portions come down I am Sure! Simon is a great arborist you blessed with some very talented persons in your world lucky girl ! The gold is these talented men helping you Abby !thanks for sharing! 😀😍
Wow, much getting accomplished here and there. Dramatic cliff face result. My parents were antiques dealers but this is the first time I've seen a sink that tilts to drain. Interesting.
Abby, congratulations on the 4 year license!! 🎉Your bathroom is coming right along! The cliff project is fascinating! All the work you do motivates me at my condo!!😅 Can I please but the little cave house with the newly revealed roof? 😅. (Only kidding!)
Haha! That was cute!
Those guys are a treasure. What they work on they do so a good job. They are so faithful. You have to thank God for getting them. For this time we are I am so happy you are so lucky to have them.
I know. I am SOOO lucky! 😍
You now have your own version of Petra.
That sink is so cool, I've never seen anything like that before. It seems very French.
The chateau sign looks very elegant.
I’d get that bucket and put wood in it by the fire place
Tomas is very handy…and pleasant too….seems very easygoing
And pleasant to look at
August 12, 2022 - - the anniversary of Chateau de Borie becoming yours Abbey! Almost two years later your sign is up and the Chateau is shining bright. You are a strong steward for preserving this beautiful home, and keeping it's spirit alive!
The velvet chair colour for the wall for the mustard bed.. with hints of mixed blues 😊 cliff looks better
The Château de Borie sign looks great!
Congratulations that you can now stay for 4 years!! I can't get over how the mountain of rock has been cleared., it looks amazing and will be so much safer! The Mayor and township should be happy now. I don't think it is right that you have to carry the brunt of this rock wall. ☹
You hit the jackpot when you found Tomas! Too bad about the dresser, but it looks o.k now! Mustard and purple or lilac go well..
9:12 lost goldfish found! Cool!
Hi Abbie, is it only 2 years??? I’ve been here from the start but it seems many more years than that! Your sign is Perfect. I can’t even Watch the climbers ! Makes my stomach hurt🫢. Wow the rock face with the hut looks amazing. A wonderful subject to illustrate. So good to see the fish has survived. Yeah. 😊
You probably never anticipated the cliff falling down!! You are doing great with it all!
Mustard yellow works really well with a combination of bright colors. Reds, blues, orange, green.
Never realized how huge that tree is. How magnificent!! Gold fish needs a friend. You’re doing such an incredible job on this place. Congrats for getting the 4 yr visa too. Love watching this unfold!! ❤
Tomas and Simon are worth gold!!
Truly!
Ivy can be so damaging. Glad to see you getting it off the cliff for more stability. Every week a little more progress.
19:41 the cottage has changed soooo much with all the work put into it. I know there is more to go, but progress is impressive.
You never get to relax and read a book. Always something more to do. Thomas' English is much improved. He's learning lots of skills for the future.
I love to do every thing you are doing, yard work painting climbing trees. making old furniture. new how fun,

I saw 2 large entrance lanterns at the shop you filmed. All they need is repainting! For the entrance gate..
Simon look like Spiderman against the wall!

Yes! Fantastic Product!
Abby, the cleaned-off cliff face is absolutely gorgeous! Don't regret the vines; they'll be growing back with a vengeance in no time :) The little cave/cottage is so adorable. I do think it all looks SO much better!
I agree, though we are going to have to keep the vines in check. They damage the rockface.
The moment Tomas whips off his shirt and then uses to protect sign from hammer! 💗😊
Right? Haha! Did you hear my little surprised "Oh"? 😂
5:12 wow sink looks great. That bathroom has been one big, complex project!
43:24 those prints would be great in one of your rooms 🙌🏼😃
The mini bathtub would be cute in a garden filled with soil and flowers
It would!
Or as a mini-spa for Chloe!
A light sanding, staining and drawer reinforcements will get you a great dresser.

Aww, that's sweet! Congrats on the studio! Well done on the go for it attitude! 😍
I'm always amazed at what a little spit and polish can do for these older pieces without a full refinish. Regarding the screws going through the drawers, you could melt some wax and place it over the ends and let it harden. It would keep the points from catching your clothing.

Such progress all around…drivers lic, cliff clearing, bedroom walls and the bathroom!!!
The chateau sign is just right 🎉 15:07
lol “What’s going on?” I was thinking the exact same thing 😂
Wow I’ve never seen a sink like that, very cool! I could shop brocante’s full time. I just love all of the antiques and treasures.

Wow 🤩 the cliff looks stunning without the ivy. So much brighter 😊 great job! X
A lovely interlude, thank you.⭐️👋
The dresser is nice in spite of all the damage. It will just require more finessing. The marble on top is really pretty.
Congrats on getting your French license Abby! Also the sign looks lovely and elegant.
I love working with plaster walls and color washes. They're perfect for each other.
You have some fantastic helpers, little steps, big changes...love Chloe❤xxx
It’s amazing what is accomplished from week to week!!
Wow , enormous tree !
So much work with the tree and all the stuff on the side cliff. Love your sink. The rooms will be cool.
Hey Abby, that's one unusual sink.. I love it😊
The sign looks great
15:02 the height looks good. A bit above eye level. Plus the sign is pretty tall itself. Such a great design, and looks soooooo good!
Omg the tree climber wow it’s huge that tree 😮
I have been watching since the beginning. You are amazing. What a transformation! Miss Bruce..hope he moves there and renovates his own house.
I’m sorry but that is one of the better license pictures I have ever seen! You look beautiful! Wow those guys are going great work! I wanted to know will someone be putting netting or something around the cliff area to contain falling debris? Take care ! ❤
So satisfying to watch the plants fall from the cliff. Love when you share the antique shops! Great video! 🥰
Thanks so much! 😊

I’ve seen old bakers racks used for outdoor wood storage.
WOW!! What an interesting video! Amazing work on the cliff. And it is looking great!!!!!!!!
Wow. So much going on. The cliff looks so much better cleared, and you also have an amazing view from the top of it now. Also so glad to see that black spotted wallpaper down!!
24:57 good pic on visa! Congrats on new visa!
I just love your peppy intro music. When it’s cut off abruptly it’s almost jarring. This time you faded it out and it was perfectamundo!
😆😆😆He is so resourceful, he just takes his shirt off without an explanation!
That’s okay. Tell him he can take his shirt off Any Time He Wants 😅

I could watch those guys take that IV and trees down all day long
Your bathroom sink is very unique to see for me. Kind of like an old sink basin with details 😊
The fountain sounds wonderful! I was thinking the same thing about cutting the rope and plummeting down.
Bought a dresser missing marble top from Goodwill. When cleaned up it looked so good we decided our original plan would not do justice. A marble offcut from a local company, beautiful veining, very happy with result, $250 U.S.. That sink wow. Totally envious.
I love watching the thrifting they have beautiful items.
