I have the COBALT5S from the makers of that ARGON 8 you played with there. The Cobalt 5 is a little more limited with just 2 LFOs 5 Voices of polyphony and fewer Modulation Slots compared to the Cobalt 8 (3 LFOs) & Argon 8 (just 2 LFOs also)… however this doesn’t really make it bad and I like that there’s an app for them that lets you see everything going on at once pretty much!
Anytime I see a child's Fisher-price toy keyboard, I have to try and get something cool out of it at the expense of looking ridiculous. I'd have a TheBlipblox under the car seat for impromptu anywhere fun. The Modbap looks great. Reminds me of the fx filters on the MK3 except with a button instead of the touch strip. Argon 8 looked super cool too. First Namm vid I've seen that kept the excitement level up 😂 and intro was freakin awesome! 🔥 Thanks for being our eyes to NAMM. 👀 I'm 8 hrs ahead, so I stayed up late for it!!
Yo the Blipblox was so rad - couldn’t agree more - felt like I HAD to make something cool. Definitely want to pickup a Modbap HUE for my rig, the simplicity of the FX sounded great and are so easy to use for MASSIVE changes. Truly appreciate you tuning in and watching! Tried to keep it engaging and show exactly what happened throughout the day. There was a lot of other gear such as guitars, brass, drums, pro audio stuff like mic’s and outboard gear and even a few software companies but I wanted to share what I thought was most interesting. Was definitely more of a VLOG tagalong video but I enjoyed making it. Funny thing is, I had a whole section where I talked about “not buying gear” and the importance of “using what you have” but my mic was off for the whole thing haha. Also talked with Lunacy Audio about their latest expansion with the mic off - classic ha!
