This is Kelly Jones flying the flag 🏴🏴🏴for this little country of ours, we might be a small country but we turn out some of the best voices around 👌.
If you look at the peoples reaction in the background when he sings... @2:20 "Vodka with Coca-cola Cocaine tucked in her shoes Cigarettes over coffee Her halo slipped to a noose" ...Its pretty priceless, that kids is rock and roll.
Kelly Jones. Subestimado y es uno de los grandes compositores y vocalistas del rock actual. Pero estos son los tiempos en que vivimos. Saludos, hermano mexicano.
Every time that I see ya, A lightening bolt fills the room, The underbelly of Paris, She sings her favorite tune, She'll drink you under the table, She'll show you a trick or two, But every time that I left her, I missed the things she would do She was the one for me, She opened my eyes to see, She was the one for me, Well alright It was a cold September, Before the Indian summer, That's the thing I remember, When she gave me her number, Went from station to station, On a train 'cross the nation Then the rain of November, That's the time that we ended, She was the one for me, Well alright Vodka with Coca Cola, Cocaine tucked in her shoes, Cigarettes over coffee, Her halo slipped to a noose, Take a slow boat to China, Fly it right 'round the moon, She could take it or leave it, I knew it had to end soon She was the one for me, She opened my eyes to see, She was the one for me, Well alright It was a cold September, Before the Indian summer, That's the thing I remember, When she gave me her number, Went from station to station, On a train 'cross the nation, And the rain of November, That's the time that we ended, She was the one for me, she opened my eyes to see, she was the one for me Well alright, alright, alright, yeah
John, I'm referring to the 4:04 moment. During "she was the one for me" part the chords are Fmaj7 C G Am, but Kelly accidentally plays Fmaj7 C Am G, switching G with Am. Doesn't it sound a bit strange there? Check the rest of the song or other recordings to see I'm right. It's a bit of a tricky song, having the same 4 chords in 3 different succesions - the others are Am Fmaj7 C G for the verses and Fmaj7 C Am G for the "it was a cold September..." part, which I guess is the chorus. :)
So very depressing. Middle England, Spaniels, scones, kids who've never seen the backside end of life, fitted kitchens etc. This could have been done at someone else house as a competition.

💯💯💯
Welsh have the best voices in the world for singing
One of the best stereohonics tunes
the guy on the right never stopped smiling in the intire song
I think this has to be one of the best songs ever.
It still gets me the reaction from the teacher's as they were probably relating to the LINE in the song 👌

Wales your a small country but the land of giants
Love the way the Teddy Bear looks wasted on the table in the backround, Too much Vodka with Coca Cola!

2:28 "cocaine tucked in her shoes" check out mom's face drop she's thinking "shit just act normal don't let them see me pranging out"
Interesting, is he tuned down here?
HOLY SHIT!!
There's Harry Potter on the left @3:30!!!!
Just look at the uneasiness when he sings "she'd drink you under the table", and "cocaine tucked in her shoe" haha
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
anyone know the tuning on the guitar
was nt a mistake, it was intentional. hes starts off with Am and finishes with Am.
Shit Hot,Off To See Um Tmoz Cheltenham.
In the end he plays Am instead of G, hehe. I guess that's the first time ever I see Kelly missing a chord.
I want to play the song like he does, anyone knows the chords?
Eslava del rio Am F C G, and the guitar is tuned down half a step
Eslava del rio then the bridge is F C G Am and the chorus is F C Am G
thanks dude!
The teacher in the middle looks pretty sheepish when he sings about vodka and then even more so when he mentions cocaine tucked in her shoes
The anorak train spotter looks likes he,s just seen the flying scotsman..
Yeah - my little finger is just not strong enough to play a G that way
Took me about 6 months of practising but once you can do it its like a joy to behold.

to the bloke at the back, either take your coat off or put the heating on!
That's a really awkward way to play a g...Also epic song!!
Well...
That was awkward.
strange venue, bonehead comments
the girl behind kelly's right shoulder looks bored!!
She only understands Justin Bieber. Lost to the world.
