You know how Ryu attacks differently depending on how long you press the button? It's kinda like that. They could have made it so say a short press is a punch and a long press is a kick. It just feels more fitting, in my opinion.
They make her Leg and Hand Short, Her head is Bigger O_O and her face different if you compare the Original (AKA a Witch With No Memories) Bayonetta Face from Sm4sh to Bayo1, see The Different. Also The Voice is kinda Different.
