Can you use a commercial trash bag or are you forced to purchase proprietary bags from the manufacturer? I have another brand of self-cleaning box and the tray is shaped that it is difficult to regular trash bags which are 1/20th of the cost.
They should write the blinding side effect of UV on the device in a big way. It should only be used with the lid closed and only the top part touched by light can be disinfected. It is not likely to be of much use. It's not worth risking blindness. It's good that at least it can be canceled

It's literally garbage. Will work great for a few months then everything starts malfunctioning. I've already had a replacement sent then that one broke and I had to order replacement parts for the second one.
Even if I were a cat who could read the user manual, which states that the self-cleaning process doesn’t activate while the cat is inside the box, I still wouldn’t go in. And it’s not hygienic either. The blinking machine could still be a huge stress factor, no matter how much it’s used, especially for a cat that needs a calm and predictable environment. That kind of noise and movement just doesn’t create a safe space for them.

The last advertisement he did was 11 months ago. Get a grip. Why don't you mention the bulk of non-commericial videos he posted bout Minnie and his family. Man is allowed to make some dough from time to time.

I have Elspet automatic litter box, my daughter has one too. We love our Elspet boxes

Nope, cats have been injured and killed by these automatic self cleaning litter boxes. And they cost 100x more than a simple tray.
