This was a joke!. The women's Whitecaps leadership and development needs to change. They selected the wrong players and got demolished. It was embarrassing. Their slow and tedious playing style was exposed, and it will only get worse as their U15 player selection is sub-par at best. So much talent in BC and BCSPL top table teams. This is also reflected at the U15-U17 National Team level because the wrong players are being selected. They are letting one Club choose the players for Team Canada when it should be done at BCSPL and province level, not at Whitecap suggestions. Time for management to change player development staff and get out there and watch all BCSPL games and top teams in the province and select the players that matter, fast, entertaining players with soccer IQ that can compete, not just players that can only run up the line and cross the ball, as you learned from Club America you actually do need talent and speed.
