Found this video saved in a playlist, I just realized how sad the ending, although fictional, is… the country the soldier fought so hard to serve fell years after the war, making his service, the people he watched die, his PTSD, survivors guilt etc, useless. Soviet afghan war is a whole helluva lot more tragic then it already was… to me at least.
