  • Sin. A subject we all have experience with. As much as sin impacts our relationships with Christ, I feel like it's not always talked about in the most practical ways. You often hear the lists of things you shouldn’t do, but that’s not always followed up with the reasons why or why sin even matters in the first place.

After 2 years I'm watching to this and being extremely blessed by God. My prayer is that May God bless you all and your families, in Jesus name. Keep living Jesus and if you even think about give up, remember that the God's message through your mouths can come to lots of people who are starving for God's word. God bless you all. You answered something very important that I've asked myself😭. Thank you from an angolan (african country) who is living in Brazil.

@13:08 the point she made right here was straight forward and plain and true, ones you repent and become reborn/new creature you are not supposed to sin anymore. This is why it says in Hebrews 10:26 “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,” also when Nicodemus told Jesus "how does a man become reborn do I go back into my mother's womb" Jesus said no! In other words you can't go back to sinning again otherwise you are deliberately sinning. Also when Jesus himself stated twice "go and sin no more" in plain words. Awesome job would love to do a podcast with you all on my TH-cam channel🙏

I agree with the saint who said sin is doing what God detests.... also what crossed ny mind is God is able to forgive us our sins as many times as we come to Him for Repentance however if we do ghe omission sin God will discipline us like a Father who disciplines a child He loves, i think that Scripture is in Proverbs..... Thank you i'm enjoying this podcast

Also @ 18:03 my response to this would be this..
To sin no more is to be like Christ. Listen the whole reason why Jesus even came down here in the flesh was to save us from our sins, so sinning no more has everything to do with being like Christ. Paul also discusses the matter of sinning no more also Peter. This young women is on the right track with what she believes when it comes to sinning no more. Other than that great podcast y'all just subscribed👍
May the Father bless you all and continue to walk you all through the scriptures diligently and genuinely.🙏

I love this! I also loved what you said about being like Christ because in Ephesians 5 the first verse is " Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children". so very spot on

Loved this. I haven’t watched this episode yet 💛 I know your new one was older so this one popped up next 💛 sin to me is disobeying the 10 commandments. But that one guy was right I could not sin if I was on a mountain alone but then the girl was right when she said even Jesus got tempted by satan when He was alone 😅 so yeah it would be hard not to sin forever on but I loved James 4:17 im going to sit on that verse forever on. Thank you Kev ☺️💛 God bless youu ☁️✨

You ask the question “What is sin?” and there is no Bible on the table, which is the origin of the concept of sin.
Sin being “missing the mark” is a evangelical definition of sin that is not entirely consistent with scripture. The Bible has provided a clear definition of sin:
    1 John 3:4
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

So about “is it possible for us to never sin” I think it is possible according to Peter 1:2-4 “2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
    Confirming One’s Calling and Election
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” We can live godliness life’s it’s says here God divine power as given us everything we need to live accordingly to escape the evil desires.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” - Peter 1:2-4 KJV version

Bible illiteracy is the single greatest problem with the Christian religion. The question is sin and not one of these born again Christians was able to answer the question solely based on the scripture.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 2John 3:4
Sin is essentially to disobey what Yahweh commands. Eve sinned before the existence of the Mosaic law. She disobeyed Yah’s command not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is why the verse clearly states sin is ALSO transgression of the Law.

Honestly, sin is a mythological concept that is shaped by whichever dominant element or group existed in a society at the time that the members of said society wrote (or edited) pieces of the Bible. This is why, for example, the dietary restrictions in the Old Testament were done away with in the New Testament (because you can't spread a newly born Christianity among the Ancient Roman people that loved their shellfish by maintaining the Old Testament's ban on shellfish lol).
Outside of the subjective nature of sin, even the concept that sin is defined as anything that defies god, is problematic, because sometimes the things that God commands are both morally reprehensible and morally indefensible (for non-psychopaths anyways), which means that sometimes the act of defying God's commands would technically be a morally good and morally-defensible action to take.
A good example of this is God commanding Abraham to kill Isaac to prove his obedience to God. Biblically speaking, Abraham's willingness to obey god by murdering his son, is seen as a good and non-sinful act. So does that mean if Abraham refused to murder his son at god's command, that he would have been guilty of committing a sin? Based on the aforementioned definition of sin, yes, Abraham would have been guilty of sin for refusing to murder his son at god's command. And yet, no modern-day Christian (that's not a cultist or a psychopath) can ever defend the act of a parent killing their child as a blood sacrifice to God, and can never confidently express their willingness to murder their own child if God suddenly commanded them to do so, because they know that murdering their children is morally reprehensible and indefensible. So, what does this say about the supposed "objective" nature of sin itself, and how seriously we should actually take it?

Be aware of false prophets;that scripture doesn’t only speak to people who call them the profits it is for those who spread God’s word unintentionally without full knowledge. If we could live without sin 100% JESUS died for nothing! Be aware of false prophets. That scripture doesn’t only speak to people who call them the profits it is for those who spread God’s word unintentionally without full knowledge.

I'm not going to lie and this is why it is very scary to watch videos like this people who claim that they are Christian who do not study their Bibles to show themselves approved and this is why everything that you all have just said from the beginning to the very end because nobody took out scriptures nobody bring out a book and pointed scriptures out everybody just went on their own understanding and this is the downfall of the Christian church you all need to study because the Bible says that sin is the transgression of the law if you have studied then you would have known that answer you wouldn't have to come up with your own illogical ignorant answers. Study your Bible and stop thinking that you have a relationship without doing so. If you want to give definition of what sin is sin is adultery idolatry fornication murder stealing bearing false witness against your neighbor homosexuality is sin that's a big Mark that people Miss in the Christian community you all need to study your Bibles read read read read read read read read

I'm not sure what you're talking about. 1. We do read and reference scripture. 2. This is not a church service nor a Bible study. This a podcast where people share their personal perspectives.
