I'm not sure how you play but I'm in a similar position but a Sova Main. What I can tell you about you based on my experience with my duo is he generally gets first bloods and lots of kills but is almost always dead by the end or round which is a very crucial time since there is lots of pressure. So you who can take duels is dead while others who cannot is alive.( me a line up Larry as an example.) So give yourself more importance and stay alive. Enemies are probably more afraid to peek if they know you're alive and in their area.
When ascendant rank was released, I got it in the following act and escaped ascendant 2 acts ago, ascendants all have proper understanding of the game already so they tend to be more ego and in my pov the rank itself have a big skill range ( ex radiant, wasted immortal etc ), the only reason why I escaped it was to play only on my best performance, one or two game a day only cause tilted = -rr. sorry for the broken english.
