Finger on the pulse again !. Great one Daz. Here in Pattaya atm & loving it. You are dead on point. There's a plethora of prices around, especially on soi bukhao & chiyapoon. But it's interesting to investigate. Won't be visiting walking street period. Why bother, just rip off prices.
Walking Street has become the place for tourists who don't know better (Soi Bukhao, the internet, etc.).

Another excellent and informative video Daz! Soi Diana beerbar complex is, or was one of my go to places. I haven´t been to Pattaya since 2019 due to the coronavirus. Anyway the prices regarding beer and barfine was the same in 2019. Come october i will once again spend atleast a month in the funniest city in the world. I have been following this channel for 2 years now. I cannot praise you enought for doing a great job for us who plan a trip to Pattaya.

I remember when beer was about 60 baht, that’s the high end beer 🍺.lady drink 100, bar fine 200-300 according to time of day. ST was around 800 avg and LT 1,200.
in soi 6 its was 600 bts for ST in some place,I don't like what it's become, it used to be clearly daytime bars for shorts time, small dark bars with curtains at the entrance, now it's all open to the street, full of lights like in Las Vegas.
@@MrZacani If you're looking for female companionship, do go to Malate, Manila to the LA Cafe where there is a constant feed of freelancers sitting around, anxious to make contact. Buy her a drink or two, see if there is chemistry, then ask her to a local room or your hotel. Local rooms are P600 I'm told. Standard ST is P3000 ($60us). Obviously a MUCH larger selection in Pattaya

Daz Korandos I was going to go there as the owner is from Melbourne of course im from sydney but im not paying those prices ridiculous.Yes we the Tourists come for a vacation but also to spend money not to waste or throw money around they all think we are rich with deep pockets well sorry to say we work hard for our money and look for bargains.Jomtein has many bars selling San Miguel Bottle 55 Bht great price these B/F lady drinks over the top. I just ask the lady for her mobile number and that works fine im not paying those prices.Great work Daz some one from another Channel says your negative who owns 4 bars I say to him at least Daz says it how it is many thanks my friend look forward to catching up with you in August.
Of course the bar owner says that. If it is the one I am thinking of he is just a piss head anyway and regularly falls out with his supposed friends. Obvs the bar owners are under pressure now because in many cases they cannot cover their costs anyway so they lash out keyboard warrior style

Wow, so cooters wants 750 plus a lady drink and your own that's a 30 bucks just to walk out with the girl. And what's the deal with Korandos, they had good food and nice girls, even stayed in one of their rooms once. 1500 plus 5 lady drinks? Are they out of their mind? With this kinda pricing they will get zero customers and lose the business. They forget that we have hyperinflation in the west and life is more expensive
Korandos thrives on pricing ignorance. Now that people know the score they can avoid the place.
That's why I don't go to scooters bar near tree town, I went in there not long after it opened & was quoted ridiculous prices for Bf, 1000bht earlier in the night & then 900bht after 11pm & 700bht from 12am until they closed, I paid my chit bin & walked out never to return.

Bar fine is the first thing i ask before I 🤔 think about setting down. 300-500b is good over I keep walking. Bars are trying hard to price themselves out of the game.
Thanks Daz, I totally agree with your philosophy. I was surprised at Korandos, 1500 BF plus 5 lady drinks, and what was it 90 B a beer. I was planning to go there when I get out again, but now I won't be, I often found that the real gems are to be found in some of the smaller bars off the beaten track as it were anyway. Cheers.

👍🏻👍🏻’s up! In my opinion your spot on regarding why gentleman come to Pattaya. Many of my friends and I stopped going into bars because it’s just a rip off. One can go find freelancers via anywhere in Pattaya or online hit 7/11 coupled with a ST hotel and by pass all the current nonsense

Hi Daz I liked the video such great info. In my experience 49 baht is the cheapest price for a Leo in a bar on Buakow. Only one place cheaper 7 11 at 39. But what I found after the restrictions started to ease there was a phase of out of date beer. Tasted horrible. Still many aspects of Soi Buakow to investigate. Thanks for your efforts.

Reasonable prices attracts customers and there is greater footfall and more business. Reasonable rate make customers happy and they come again and become regular patrons of the bar. The choice is up to the management who they want to cater to.
yeah, Windmill and Kink are great for a drink and check out the show, but for ST I'm a Soi 6 guy. But I will definitely stop in Amon's place. Great vid, you do an awesome job

I know you only have so much time but Soi 7 beer bars would be interesting versus Soi 6 .
I often considered Soi Buckhow Soi Lenkee and Soi Xzyete the Cheap Charlie area. Scooters bar on Soi 6, LK Metro and another on Soi Buckhow were always a favorite for me. Happy Hour, buy 1 get 1 free a great opportunity like Triangle Bar .

You are opening a can of worms with that question. Would you believe a bar operator anyway if they told you they regularly have their workers tested? Even if they did, which is doubtful, it would only be of use until their next customer anyway, which would probably be an hour after the test for a popular lady

Desire is for buying mocktails as lady drinks on stream. Tried asking about prices but got shut down because "they are not here for that." The bar is closed to actual in-person customers last I checked.
I really like a good beer bar from time to time. I can't wait until I have those decisions when I retire this December. Yep you guessed it, getting a nice 6 month condo rental and enjoy the good life.
Great vlog yet again some more realistic bar fines & short times shown here the bars who are asking 750 baht & above for a bar fine won’t be seeing me as by the time you have added the drinks etc you’re looking at circa 3.5 k & above. Leave that for the 2 week millionaires 👍

Totally agree with you! I already have my own no-go-list for bars/agogos I don't go to anymore because of what in my opinion is stupid prizing or other stupid rules that is making my visit less pleasant and/or less interesting.

I will now be making a policy of when I walk into a bar to ask straight away about prices the first one being bar fine prices If the bar fine price is low then I will assume the lady's are open to getting bar fined and going partying elsewhere also to ask for drinks prices and if I think they are well over the 100 for customer drink or LD is over 150 I will go elsewhere. The more people do this the more chance that the new practices will stop. Plenty off the track places to investigate. It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't go on about all the doom and gloom. Thanks again.

Great video. Regarding "attractive staff" to barfine it could be great to have a some info on the quality in the different bars. Like you did in another great video, with the other bars - rated the staff. Of course you can not film them, but give your opinion. Maybe some of the high priced barfine bars, also have better quality of staff ? I am not saying it is like that, but could be ?

You Are better to get performance enhancing from your doctor before you come here ,even the chemist's in pattaya are selling fake pills at a higher price telling you there are original .Dont waste your money .

I checked out Benelux bar on fb. How on earth can they charge double that of soi 6 bars? And on Bukaho.. Something must be very wrong here. I cant really see the basic economics at work.
No one can. Typical Thai business landscape. Business is down, time to gouge customers instead of running promotions and increase your marketing. The girls and bar owners had it too good for too long. Those days are GONE! People still want to have fun and people will *spend* money for fun but they don't want to *waste* money. They want value. Spending 2-4 times more for the exact same product/service as two years ago is not value. It's gouging. I think these new bar owners don't have enough carrying costs to ride out the slow time so they want to gouge customers until tourism goes back up. Not a sustainable business model. You can't gouge locals, that only works with tourists on holiday budgets. Right now, Soi Bukhao is relying on local customers which means depending on return visits. Gouge a local once, he's not coming back. And guess how many other locals he tells about the inflated prices?

To summarize, 300-600 barfine, 1K-2k ST are the spots not shooting themselves in the foot
I'm not a heavy drinker. For me the right way is a drink for me, another for a girl, and then try a ST if we have some chemistry. A reasonable BF is very, very important. That's way I usually liked Soi 6 (at least before the pandemics) because they have rooms and normal prices.

Yes soi six is still very cheap and friends that live in thailand in Pattaya say its the same as pre covid.. but like everything Pattaya it keeps changing ! to me the best place to get good looking girls are at the clubs like Mikes on walking street just do your negotiating outside as this is a dance club.. be discrete..
