Wally (New Haven, CT): WPKN Gold Sounds

WPKN is thrilled to announce, GOLD SOUNDS, a new pilot series of live in-studio video and broadcast sessions, elevating and showcasing Connecticut/tri-state artists and global acts.
The debut features the incredible harmonies of New Haven's, Wally.
Artists and bands perform at WPKN's Bridgeport Studios, captured on video via Black Rock's Kicker Pictures, and multi-track recorded by Chris Ruggiero (Preservation Sound), and assistant engineer (and recent intern) Chris Miller. Video sessions are typically 10-20 minutes, paired with a 55-minute broadcast featuring the performance tracks, lead by a band interview focusing on formation, influences, craft etc.
The broadcast debuts 8am Tuesday 1/28 on Brendan Toller's Shake 'N' Vibrate Radio 7-9am show (filling in for Steve di). A broader broadcast schedule will be announced soon, with on-demand podcast availability to follow.
