    Yes!!! Looking forward to testing. The record feature you mention, is it full native recording including audio? So can be used as a backup recording?

    Which PTZ Optics cameras does this support? Does it support the PTZ Optics 20x-NDI-WH?

    This would be extremely useful to our setup. Have two of your cameras and being able to add the auto-track feature would justify buying a third. When can we get this software? The link just goes to a page that asks if I want to stay in the loop and I gave my email a week ago with no updates. Would gladly take a "beta" version even to just play with it so we can plan our future purchases accordingly.

    Does the PTZ Optics PT12X-SDI-GY-G2 support this feature? Alternatively, can I upgrade the firmware to enable this functionality?

      You may be inquiring about auto-tracking with our PTZOptics G2 cameras.
      1. Yes, the PTZOptics PT12X-SDI-GY-G2 Camera will work with the CMP. (Camera Management Platform) You can use the CMP to enable auto-tracking for a G2 Camera.

      2. No, the G2 cameras are no longer getting firmware updates. They cannot auto-track with the G2, except while using the CMP. For these advanced auto-tracking features, you must purchase a PTZOptics Move 4K, Move SE, or Link 4K.

    SO I installed this after church today and I have experience nothing but trouble... I got the camera up but all the controls won't work... I want to use it via USB only (This is due to our network issues where my church is... LONG story but lets just say I have to use the Wifi for internet and the ethernet Port for the camera.. But when I have everything set up... I will sometimes show on my One Drive that I am offline ALOT.. all because the ethernet port and Wifi is used at the same time.. BUT yeah.. When I go in.. The controls won't work and Auto-focus is not visible like it shows in this video... Also there is a PT Helper assist that tells me to Move my Green Cross to the boundary area but Nothing moves or works.. I can only get a feed of the camera and nothing else.. very frustrated.

      1. USB Control Setup
      Since you're using the camera via USB only, ensure that the camera is correctly set up for USB control:
      Verify USB Connection: Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected between your PTZOptics camera and your computer.
      Check USB Drivers: Make sure the necessary USB drivers are installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the PTZOptics website.
      2. Camera Controls Not Working
      The control issues you're facing might be related to the USB control settings:
      Camera Selection in CMP: Make sure you've selected the correct camera in the CMP software.
      Firmware Update: Ensure your camera's firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues. You can find firmware updates on the PTZOptics website.
      3. Auto-Focus Issue
      The auto-focus not being visible could be a settings issue within the CMP:
      Check Camera Settings: In the CMP, go to the camera settings and ensure that auto-focus is enabled.
      Camera Firmware: Again, ensuring the firmware is up to date can resolve many issues, including the auto-focus problem.
      4. PT Helper Assist Issue
      The PT Helper assist issue where you can't move the green cross might be due to software or configuration settings:

      @@PTZOptics so first.. the USB is the USB that came with the package.. it works because it’s working properly on OBS… both my USB is plugged in and the Ethernet cable is plugged into the computer with a POE injector.. that way I can still control the camera settings until I can get proper control using the USB… the controls won’t work on CMP but I was able to find and download your PC version of the PTZ Optics app and install it.. I set up the connection on the app via USB and have had no issues outside of not having the Auto Tracking button on it…
      Version of CMP is 1.41 if I remember correctly.
      2.. first thing I always do is check and update firmware that’s done…
      3. I never said issues with auto focus… I said issue where auto tracking was not showing up on CMP..
      4. Not easy to mess with when I can’t even do what it ask. This is an issue along with not being able to control the camera on CMP.
      5. I tried but could not get this figured out so that One Drive would work properly as I use One Drive to transfer videos over from my home to our church computer.. it goes in and out
      I wish there was someone available to help me on Sunday as this is the only time I am at the computer with the camera.. M-F is not good at this time

    Is it possible to decrease headroom with the auto tracking option. I tried to move the red square but it doesn't work. We can zoom in in the image but we losts the sides obviously.

    Hello - I'm using CMP to manage a 20x camera and I had created presets just last week. Now I opened the app and all my presets are gone. Is there some way to save my configuration or export it to a file so I can import whenever I need it? Preferably, the former.
    Also when I try to position the camera view, it constantly overshoots and goes to the extreme in the chosen direction.

      For overshooting, Try checking your firmware and rebooting your camera.

    Hi Paul .. Hi @PTZOptics .. it looks like to be a great Software .. still waiting for the Link activation .. we've several PTZ Optics 12x Cameras (Iguess 1st Gen.) in use .. and hope it will work with them .. along the Superjoy we also use to controll mult Camera sets the Autotracking feature would be very supportive in many cases .. looking forward to test it out ..

    How well does this work with Epiphan Pearl?

      Hi Brandon, The CMP can't integrate with the Epiphan Pearl. The CMP can only interact with PTZOptics cameras. If your PTZOptics cameras are connected to the network, you can directly control the camera, ignoring the Epiphan Pearl.
