I'm considering getting an r3 for my first bike. I used to ride dirtbikes a lot when i was younger, but a 600 bike seems a little intimidating. R3 seems like it would be a nice bike to have. It's fast enough to have fun on, but not too fast that you could easily get into trouble.
I love the R3, I think it sounds and looks amazing, especially the new shaped model. I've ridden a few 125cc motorbikes over the years, and my only concern is with it only being a 300cc motorbike, that it wont be powerful enough to keep me entertained for a long period. How do you guys find the performance compared with the bigger bikes?
That's such a BEAUTIFUL place to ride. Much better than Texas straights huh? Lol. Always loved your r3. Planned on a trip to Texas to try and meet all you guys, (motonosity, Jake, you) but everyone is leaving lol. Guess I'm stuck with only Jake the garden snake.
In Indonesia R25, All new Cbr 250 rr, and ninja 250, it's really fun bike, easy to control, they can do elbow down and the majority are used by high school students as daily motorcycles or maybe they use scooter as daily motorcycles and use the their superbike like r6, s1000rr, ducati in sunday, we called SUNMORI, Sunday Morning Ride :)
Nice video! @YamahaZED **quick video idea** (if you haven’t dedicated a Video specifically to it already) but you could show the quick up-shifting technique you use! Shifting around on the street at normal speeds or explaining it in the garage may keep you out of trouble! 😆 oh and I don’t recall if you mentioned you windscreen in the all mods video for your R3... what are you currently using? (Maybe you could even include a quick explanation for installing one if you changed it too!) Just a few video ideas I was thinking about (when your brainstorming) that might keep you out of trouble and still being able to make great content! Keep up the good work! I’m always excited to see you put up another video!

So while my R1 is in the shop, I’m about to trade my drz for possibly an R3. I was looking for videos on it, saw yours and instantly recognized Geiger 😂 damn man just looked through your vids, sucks you moved from Reno! Would have loved to ride to VC with another R3 if I get it!

Thanks! I get about 60mpg on average riding. I don't full throttle everywhere but I don't baby it to get the most mpgs lol. Either the r3 or fz07 will be a great choice. Only thing on the fz07 is that it does have a decent amount of torque in the low end especially in 1st gear which could potentially scare or cause problems in beginners. But if you respect the bike for what it is and know your limits then I don't see why not for the fz07, ultimately it's up to and what you can handle
@@mariosr4886 go with the FZ-07, after a couple months you'll want more power with the R3 and it just won't be there but with the FZ itll be there if you need it and you can work your way up to it. It for sure has more get up and go when needed in sketchy situations as well.
MarioSR one thing to keep in mind is that aftermarket pipes for the mt-07 are incredibly expensive (around 700-1200)compared to the r3’s, which are about 1/3-1/2 of the price (300-600). Plus a used r3 is easy to find for around 3,000. It’s what I plan to get for my first bike. After a year or two I want to move up to the mt-10 or the Harley street fighter (coming out in 2020).
Same feeling after a few months of full akra. I learned from this that you want a loud pipe, but not too loud where it is annoying. Not too quiet either. I like the sound, however the full Akra is too loud and with insert is too quiet. A middle ground would be nice. Akrapovic should supply one with 3 settings.
Blood Rider I have the akra full system on mine, it does not sound like this at all. It sounds a lot louder and deeper in real life. For $800, I am very satisfied with the sound.

I think he installed a quickshifter, so he doesnt need to roll of when upshifting. But there is a clutchless upshift method indeed
