Honestly..Beckham should win ballon d'or instead of rivaldo that year..his win everything..winning premier league,fa cup and champion league,produce 2 assist on added time to win the final..no one deserves more than him..
It's not just wins it's also the ability of the player not negating his freekicks but it's the all round player's ability and the effect of that ability on the team

We were royalty in English and European football back then. The flair and directness in our style of play was breathtaking. The red carpet was always rolled out for us and deservedly so. We were the immortals in Greek folklore. Miss them days cuz i was old enough to experience the great worth of being a UTD supporter.

What a season, only 4 defeats in all competitions (not including the 3-0 in the charity shield) 2-3 Boro, 3-0 Arsenal and 3-1 Sheffield Wed and a 3-1 defeat to Spurs in the league cup, quite an achievement especially since that season we played Barcelona twice, Bayern Munich 3 times plus the cream of English football at the time.

Wimbledon were in the Premier league for the first 8 PL seasons 1992/93-1999/00 ironic ManUtd had a 100% record at Selhurst Park in PL vs Wimbledon until the Treble season ManUtd needed an equaliser to draw lol...Wimbledon had the lead for about 40mins and then the following season ManUtd won PL by record pts winning margin that stood for 18years and Wimbledon were relegated but still Wimbledon had the lead for even longer finished another draw 😅 Season just before those 2, ManUtd win no major trophies but beat Wimbledon 2-5 the irony 😂
