Hi Wendy! I love your idea with matching a classic white shirt with a fun skirt! I sometimes like to wear mine as a 'jacket' by wearing a fun tank (silk preferred) underneath, colored pants, and leaving the shirt unbuttoned.
I think the versatility of a white shirt is also true for denim shirts, which is one of my favorites to mix and match :)
