We can't expect the Chiefs to win by 20+ points every game. Especially this early in the season, with the team at half mast. They'll hit cruising speed when it's necessary. After Xmas.
I’m a newbie but this is the deal! All of the NFL teams are great! It seems to come down to who pulls ahead by the end of the clock! If the game lasted a little longer possibly the other team would win. No game is a given! That’s what makes it exciting!
Rasheed Rice is very young and very strong. . I don't believe the injury is as bad as the media is hoping for . My guess is he will be back in 3 weeks. So there's a chance he might be back . After the bye week. So he will definitely be back in 4 weeks the longest.
It's weird that they haven't come out and confirmed the ACL injury yet.. maybe it's a break or fracture? Maybe it just looked really bad and it's just a deep bone bruise... Which would actually be the best thing. Just take a little time to heal
It will not be 3 weeks, lol. He is on IR so at least 4 weeks. It doesn’t look good even if it’s not an ACL, so I would guess the best case scenario would to be back for the playoffs

Chiefs realize slow and steady wins the race. The first couple drives, they observe and take notes. Who’s going to bite on what, etc.. it’s not a big deal if they are down by 10. By the end of the first quarter, they have the opponent figured out. It’s not flashy, but they are actually playing good ball.
KC are champions because of their defense. The defense adapts their game plan after they see how the opposing offense looks. Then Mahomes and Reid scrape up just enough points to get by.

this is really insightful... "in crunch time, technique is more important than athleticism" -- great interview
Say what you want about how they look. Mahomes is 12-0 when trailing 10-0. That’s unreal.
False if you are including playoffs/superbowls. I believe he has 2 losses of 10+ points. Still incredible.
