I don't know if one ripped off the other, or if the ripped something else off, or if it is just a common deisgn structure but it is very dissapointing and makes both games look much worse.

First off, as someone who has managed to get to Intermediate rank in Risk, it's frustrating seeing how poor the decisions they make are, but that's just me, I guess by playing poorly it is more exciting for the little kids who couldn't care less about who wins or how it's done because zombies aren't a real problem in the game. You get an advantage when attacking and defending against zombies, and they spawn only as many zombies as they have territories so the real strategy is to let them expand 1 territory per turn to prevent a break. They also don't get continent bonuses, in every sense of the word, zombies are a non issue as long as you deal with other players first. 2nd off, I love how TH-cam thinks they're playing Clash of Clans Edit: You know... I was gonna be done with my short rant but it truly got worse the more I watched. I didn't exactly realize that they were not playing on Balanced Blitz (aka the only correct dice setting). If they were, they wouldn't see so much BS of 4 v 1 failing because in BB a 3 v 1 is guaranteed to win. This video has caused me unbelievable amounts of pain but I stuck through.

Have you guys considered actually trying to play the game with strategy? For your group's playstyle, progressive cards is definitely Not the way to play, and would be much better to return to fixed. The two different game modes are played very Very differently and you're playing a progressive game as if it were a fixed card game. Also, you'll want to turn off true random rolls in order to prevent these ridiculous attack outcomes. Finally, you should turn off the attack animations in order to speed up the game play. That way you won't be running out of time having wasted it all on the attack animations.
B U T, do you think they would find balanced blitz fun when somebody manages to build an massive army and make everybody die in 1 or 2 turns? In random they get more time to have chaos, or live a massive army.
