And thank you so much sir it's really a very helpful video. Infact I got the first video of MCQs based on Anglo Saxon. So thank you thank so much sir .🙏🏻
Sir.. I'm referring to question number 6 ... your answer was Bede for the father of our English learning..but I think it should be Alfred because Bede wrote in Latin not English also Alfred was the one who started doing things for the progression of English language such as Anglo Saxon chronicle.....he also translated some works from Latin to English himself.
In a world famous book which is written by William J long, there they have clearly mentioned that The father of our English learning is Bede. WJ Long Page num 35.
@@LiteratureSimply sir, can you make videos on world literature, make series on American, Australian, Canadian, etc. Also, Classical Literature like Sophocles, Homer, Dante, in systematic way. Please sir. Thankyou
I got 18 out of 20.Last part of previous lecture pls conduct another lecture on that. Period and events which you showed during end of lecture not able to understand.
Hello Sir, I'm a bit unsatisfied of the question no 6.As per the Anglo-saxon period, Caedmon was the first to write in old English whereas, Bede wrote for the first time in Latin. So, how can Bede be the father of our English learning? Can you please explain?
Please read History of English literature by W.J. Long and A Short Oxford History of English literature by Andrew Sanders.... The contribution of Bede is considered very significant though Caedmon wrote in Old English....
