I watched it for the fl actress. I got excited to see this fl actress in a strong fl role but she still primarily played a pathetic role, like the rest of her other roles😕 I love the immortal cultivation plot. You know you watched a lot of Chinese anime or reading the manhuas when you know the cultivation levels by heart 😂 Anyways, a lot of things didn’t make sense in this drama. I found it really hard to believe that the ex-master & 3rd senior brother would suddenly hate the fl after spending 10 yrs together. Just because they believed every lie and spit from the villainess. Also, the master didn’t seem very powerful since he couldn’t sense a demon spy next to him? The first half of the drama was hard to watch straight through because the fl was getting bashed left and right by the ppl she cared for. Things take a positive turn after that and fl continues to get stronger. Even tho she practices the Ruthless cultivation, she didn’t really act like one. She FINALLY develops an arrogant attitude after the competition when she retorts back to her ex-master. Otherwise, she would’ve carried on that humble, low-key self all the way through. Btw, I love her costumes and hair pieces❤They were beautiful! The CGI was decent in this drama.
