Another Luck Ganriki song, but this time purely piano! I wanted to do another transcription for the new year, so I decided with this one.
First of all, MUSESCORE 4 SUCKS. The actual software itself is pretty okay, if not somewhat slower than Musescore 3, as well janky from trying to be more "modern" by having and hiding a bunch more menus than necessary, and being unable to edit much finer details. However, it is currently impossible to use an MS4 file to download the video for uploading or even just send it straight to TH-cam, meaning I've had this done for about a week before I realized that they won't fix that anytime soon. So enjoy the OBS screen recording!
Anyway, I transcribed Golden Sneer because, first of all, it is a really good piece. Second, most of the transcriptions I've found online are either buried in some corner of the internet, are formatted or transcribed weirdly, or are just incorrect in some places. I tried not to look at them to keep it in my own style, and I think it turned out great. Most of the trouble I had was from trying to keep it not flat and repetitive for 3 minutes, so I added some oboe/clarinet/flute/the epic harpsichord parts to the places they belonged, and it turned out fine. I maybe could've abandoned bass clef for some parts, but I used it and decided to keep it, especially since treble in those areas would have problems of their own.
I may stick with transcriptions for a while, since I've been out of my piano mood for a bit (I still play, and have that dai Umineko/Higurashi book :) ). So be ready for more piano music, and enjoy this one!
