i took a spare black plastic dust cap, poke a pin hole in the center of the cap, put it on the M42 extender 21mm ring on the ZWO camera, point the camera at a white surface, fire up your asiair, any dust spots will show up real easy.
I made the mistake of using canned air once. The flats were noticeably worse right away and the cleaning job got exponentially more difficult. I was horrified watching that circular cleaning motion. In most cases it’s recommended to use a soft wipe in one direction only. Usually from the center to the outside. My recent sensor cleaning took 24 iterations over 4 days to clean a ZWO ASI533MC Pro. Luckily there were only 2 filters (L-Pro & L-eXtreme) to be cleaned. Did I mentioned that you shouldn’t use canned air? Unless you want to work a lot harder to get your rig cleaned.
As a wannabe astrophotographer, I found this presentation too muddled. Why are you switching between all of these programs? Is the use of flat-frames covered in your course? Why didn't you use a 90% white card from the camera store?
Thanks! Very helpful! Any recommendation to clean the sensor (zwo camera, same as yours) ?

Look for FITS viewing software, NASA may have some. I have a Mac and use "FITS preview" which can export them as JPEG (command x) does it.
Tom
I was looking for an easy way to batch convert a group of FITS to TIFF so I could used these files in Sequator - DSS has a habit of crashing on me.
The new version of ASI that now has a FITS viewer built-in.
Hi sir . May I ask . What lens is that ?? Thank you
Now the world is full of facemasks I think wearing one when working with exposed filters or sensors would be a great plan.
Would you suggest using 70% alcohol to clean the filters? Thoughts? Let us know! :)
hello peter, suggested you a thing on instagram, check the direct :D
