🌶️ Apart from the AES, African states are not for unity. We, the Diasporans, constantly hope for African unity, but we fear we are just dreaming. To many African leaders dancing to the tunes of Western pipers whilst being in fear of foreign military bases that they've foolishly invited into African countries backyards. Foreign military bases signals that if persuasion fails force must be applied.

      @@thekorsh4230i disagree....
It is the Diaspora (through rastafarians, pan Africans )who have been articulating through music the importance and need for african.
Such unity will need first and foremost the mother land needs to correct its economic and social relationships with its occupiers,Expatriates, colonials ).
The leaders must create the environment for those in the Diaspora to return.
And for this unity to be a fulfilled Aspiration.....it cannot be done from the Diaspora level.
The Diaspora has been struggling in the world to fit in ....and they are held in low regard by all races...
Why ....the motherland of black people has not done anything to protect their people around the world...which is even an issue in the world.
India...will look after indians in the world..
China ...will look after Chinese around the world.
Do u hear africa defending the human rights of black people around the world.
Africa Unity must be dealt with at a socio economic and political level....for it to make sense.
And once there are boarders and travel restrictions in africa there will never be Unity.
The paragons of division are still in existence.

I tend to disagree, the problem is not that we can't, 54"counties can, as a united frrontt, with our 1 billion ppl ..Singapore did it., but the ghost of low self esteem has Africa paralyzed into thinking we can't. We are a people who civilized this world , that's what we need to tap into.

I don't think low self esteem is our problem, maybe it is in our leadership. Our problem is more in greed that will not take less or almost nothing today in order for us, or future generations, to have bountyfull benefits tommorow. What ends up happening is that we always sell ourselves short in all deals that we make and therefore end up always where we started instead of moving forward.

Africa 🌍/we all know of the problems, yet people keep on talking without any meaningful resolution. Talk is cheap and that's what all of us are doing especially the so-called African/leaders, authorities! We have to adopt hands on approach and get yourselves together. The people that put us in such a situation won't do it for us --- hell no, they wont lift a finger to honestly help Africa. Why should they when they are thriving from the miserable conditions that they bestow upon Africa 🌍?

I am tired of these nice speeches that are being made by our leaders words on their own can't do anything alone, I want actions are the one that are going to liberate us. Nations such as Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso serve as the great example, not other leaders who pretend as they serve for the nation but deep down they know that they are the puppets of western nations.
