Good review. I put this globe together yesterday, but mine either didn't come with the adhesive strips or I just didn't notice. Admittedly, I did have some trouble with certain sheets inserting properly, so I used glue in a few spots. And you are correct... glueing the tombstone shaped pieces is essential to the gears not falling out of alignment.
I chose the L. Globe as my first wooden model and don’t understand some of the terms in instructions. Such as “wax the gray part with remind” or”press to the deep”? Are you able to help me? 😂

Maybe, u did get a small stick of wax with your kit? Could you provide a little bit more description on what step you are working on?
