My first bgrr 6000 lt daiwa gave me a bad impression alltogather about daiwa engineering dept., wind knots due to acute bail wire opening angle ( line slap against bail wire ) , line lay is not good enough nor sufficient torque ,my stradic 6000 fl would win in every catagory. As shimano guy now i feel sticking to this camp ( shimano ) is my best bet.
Got the 4000d wiv 31lbs braid use it for barramundi and groupers. I use mine quite heavily hopefully it will hold up so i wont have to go buy the certate of the exist
As far as smoothness they are both very similar. They run the same ATD drags so also good. The certate is better if you are looking for a SW reel or heavier fishing

Bg rr lt is a shit reel, unfortunately for daiwa the minimum is the BG MQ, or any MQ. anything under and himano wins in the price bracket.
