    I can attest to the absolute perfection of the drafting of this pattern. As a tester, I have sewn 12 bags so far with 2 more being cut out now! These are beautiful bags, Rosie is a master pattern drafter and excellent videographer! Direction are perfectly clear and concise. This is a gotta have and a keeper!

    Love making this bag. It was very easy to put together and your instructions were on point! I'll have to check out your other bag video tutorials. I prefer watching the video tutorials instead of reading the instructions. Some designers instructions are not clearly explained. But by seeing the bag being constructed visually, makes it much easier and more enjoyable to sew a bag. Thank you so much.

    Everything about this tutorial is excellent: effective, efficient, organized and thorough, but also well-paced. Good discussion; good visual. I like the tip of using one piece of dst down the middle instead of two pieces on each side of the middle, which is bulky. I also like the double fold on the zipper top; that is much more secure than just one right-angle fold. Finally, the pattern is really well designed. So glad I found this! Thanks!

    Thanks for another fabulous design and video. Your bags are the best I've made because they are so meticulously drafted. A tip that I've learned from many years of sewing clothing and now bags.....I always iron my cotton fabric before I cut it out because sometimes the steam will cause it to shrink. Also ironing the fusible interfacing can cause shrinking also. My way around this problem is to draw the pattern on the back of the fabric and iron the interfacing pieces on before I re-check the lines I've drawn and then cut. This is easy if the interfacing is in the seam allowance but also doable when it's kept out of the seam allowance. Thank you for all your hard work.

    I really like your videos and just downloaded this pattern. After watching your video on redrafting a lining pattern, I knew you would draft linings for this pattern made to fit! Hi Rosie from the UK. I have almost completed the Wristlet pouch and it has come together very well, however it struck me that there was no 'd'ring metioned to attach the swivel clip for the hand strap. Have you attached yours to the Zip please.? I would be unable to do this as the fastener is a fancy one with no room to attach the swivel. I think maybe i would have to attach it down the side before i stitch it together. Thank you for a well written and concise pattern . I have enjoyed making it immensely.

      @RosiesArtStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am so glad to hear that you made the wristlet pouch. You are correct that it does not use a d-ring. In the directions under the materials needed for the wristlet pouch, I say that you need three zippers pulls that you can attach a swivel clip to. So, the wristlet strap does get attached to the zipper pull. Thank you for the kind comments about the pattern and for your me support! Have a great day!

    If my contrast vinyl is thinner than my main body vinyl should I interface it at all?

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not a fan of heat fusing an interfacing to vinyl, but you would want your main and contrast fabric to be the same thickness. If you are going to heat fuse, test on a small piece first. There are some interfacings that I am just learning about that you can stick on that I am going to be looking into soon to see how I like them. If they work well, that would be ideal for interfacing vinyl. I hope this helps.
