Mean Green Midrange Machine: Meepo Envy First Ride!

In this video, we take our first ride on the Meepo Envy! The Envy is Meepo's midrange offering in their flexible urethane board lineup, offering decent power and a smooth Hobbywing control experience.
The Meepo Envy is an interesting offering from Meepo, bringing Hobbywing speed control to the normally LingYi-dominated product lineup. Personally, I find Hobbywing speed controllers to be more intuitive, smoother, and more reliable than the LingYi ones, however they do tend to be a little bit weaker. The Envy puts up a great amount of power for its relatively low price, and packs a decent bit of range as well with its 12s2p Molicel P42a battery.
The Envy also comes with a fast charger at 4a, and sports some awesome green colors that extend to the baseplates and bushings. I love the look of the Envy, including the deck and wheels, and it comes together in quite a satisfying package. I look forward to riding the next 90-ish miles on this board!
For reference, rider testing weight is about 160 lbs.

Oh interesting, I'll have to try that out. I found out later that Tuya is supposed to work with the Wowgo 3E, but didn't know to try it with the Envy.

I am testing the Light Up Envy (Aurora, basically the same board). I am quite enjoying it ngl. They been making good boards since the hurricane, and now with hobbywing instead of LY, and great price tags, a very decent choice for most thane riders, especially college kids.

I agree, pretty great options nowadays at a good price. I think it's definitely worth saving the extra to buy this over the v5 even if it takes you months haha

Do you know if envy like flex pro have strong enough brakes to lock the wheels?

Thanks! The Flex pro brakes are quite similar to these, but whether or not you can lock them depends a bit on weight and road surface. In my braking tests, the Flex Pro and Envy performed almost identically

it is a little shaky on a bad asphalt, so yes, it needs a different set of wheels to drive on roads, etc.
I got 150mm for mine, but you cannot drive fast on these
