Hi there Dipa!! I had done a back to back going into this cruise (first week was a mom/daughter cruise and 2nd week was this group cruise). On the last day of the cruise, you can buy liquor from the liquor store at a very reasonable price and they let you take it with you; so I did that on the 1st cruise's last day and that's how I got the vodka there. Totally legit way to do it. I know of some who might get it through shots with the drink package or some people who sneak it on. You can also order a bottle to be delivered to your cabin, but it's super duper pricey that way. Those are how I know how to get the vodka on board! Thanks so much for catching up on my videos!! Yes! It's a very fun way to share Jell-o shots!! I think the size was a little much for some people (it makes 2 oz per syringe). Many people only wanted a 1 oz shot. In the future, I think I would make strong ones in the 2 oz syringes and a few less-strong ones in a 1 oz syringe. I was very happy that they set and worked out so nicely. The only other legit way to have a bottle of liquor on board is to purchase it pre-cruise and have it delivered to your cabin. I had MORE than enough and that's why I was sharing them at our get-together at the end of the cruise. They were really strong and made large shots, so some couples shared them. The 6 oz made about 17 large syringes. Our group was a total of 30 people for that group cruise. For the big LLL/SAS group cruise in October I will definitely bring more! Interesting...this is what the recipe said to do. Is it because of decreasing the alcohol content? Or for safety? They seemed to work okay with adding the cold vodka into the hot water/Jell-o solution (but mixing that 2 minutes makes it no longer as hot). I'm sincerely curious. Thank you for watching, Carrie!💕

How long did you leave them in the mini fridge for the jello to set? Halloween cruise booked and too excited to try this!

The only other legit way to have a bottle of liquor on board is to purchase it pre-cruise and have it delivered to your cabin. I wrapped them in a clean hand towel and put them in the fridge with the tip of the syringe upright. I'm not sure if it matters. The seemed to set up very well.💕
Can you purchase from the duty free on the ship to have in your room? Or do you have to pay for a full bottle from the bar? What's the cost? :)

If you buy it before the last day of the cruise, they hold onto that liquor till the end of the cruise and then you can pick it up. I bought it from the duty-free store on the very last night of the first cruise (for $25), and they let me take it with me, so I could have it at the start of the second cruise of a back to back. The only other legit way to have a bottle of liquor on board is to purchase it pre-cruise and have it delivered to your cabin. Interesting...this is what the recipe said to do. Is it because of decreasing the alcohol content? Or for safety? They seemed to work okay with adding the cold vodka into the hot water/Jell-o solution (but mixing that 2 minutes makes it no longer as hot). I'm sincerely curious. Thank you for watching, Carrie!💕
