WOW!!! What a nice boat. We have been saving hard for a new boat. We thought we were saving for a Yamaha 242 limited S.....now I am not so sure. I wish this had Yamaha's clean outs.
Sorry for the stupid question, but are you supposed to leave the door open when you sit on the toilet? Doesn't look like there's enough room to close the door when sitting.

Years ago a 24 ft boat was 24 ft, now they include a 3 foot swim platform in the length, and a 24 ft boat is a lot smaller than years ago.
You are right, but the difference is new swim platforms are an integral part of the boat. Before they were just bolted on appendages. Alan Jones
The 255 Open ID becomes 27 feet LOA when swim platform is lowered.

Sorry we missed your question. No, there's enough room to shut the door. While the compartment isn't huge it's big enough to do the job.
