I did the Battle of the bulge road trip with a group of friends in the last weekend of September 2023. It is a lovely tour with a good variety of mostly small and main roads. The roads are good, where you can easily continue driving at a normal speed. The views are very nice, and I like the theme of the road trip. We did have lunch at Café beim Frank in Diekirch on the terras. A nice place with a decent lunch. In the last part of the trip we visit the war museum in Bastogne. The guided tour with headphones takes you about 2 hours. The tour shows you the war through the eyes of four different people. This is truly worth the visit. We had nice weather and I enjoyed the trip very much. We stayed in La Roche en Ardenne at hotel le Luxembourg. A decent hotel. I had a small room with a double bed and a shower. Simple, good and clean. The parking behind the hotel hardened with gravel is free of fee. The owner serves the first beer on him and make us an excellent breakfast in a very nice dinning room. La Roche en Ardenne is a small town with good restaurants. Unfortunate, the Irish pub was closed during our visit, so we took a few drinks in another bar.
