This is great Ethan I'm going to try this. My teacher advised that I was perhaps crouching too much before jumping forward and there was more leg energy than bandha. How much leg energy is needed in your opinion? Its hard for me to find that sweet spot
Thank you for your great video! I have a question. How is the breath between trini and chatvari like 1:45? I mean when your are flying before kicking in chatvari. Do you hold a breath little bit? I can not lift up my body with exhalation in chatvari. Thank you.
This is great. Well done indeed. I like your succinct explanations However I do have a question regarding the jump forward where you say to take the deep knee bend to get the power from the legs. I recently watched another instructor say that the legs were not the power source as such, and that the flexion of the foot provides the impetus forward after the legs have straightened from not so much knee bend. He says, "It is not my legs that propel me forward. The legs are relaxed. It is the ankles and the toes that spring me forward." Also what tips are there for getting comfortable with the shoulders in advance of the hands on the floor for the jump back, please?
So elegant and smooth.

Where did you buy that vest.. look cool.
Loose hamstrings are the key to this.
