God Krsna would know that we cant even remember yesterday what to speak of a last life so why punish us for something we wont know, its like sending someone to jail without knowing the crime , thats unkind
Sinful activities are of two kinds: those which are mature and those which are not mature. The sinful activities for which we are suffering at the present moment are called mature. The many sinful activities stored within us for which we have not yet suffered are considered immature. For example, a man may have committed criminal acts but not yet been arrested for them. Now, as soon as he is detected, arrest is awaiting him. Similarly, for some of our sinful activities we are awaiting distresses in the future, and for others, which are mature, we are suffering at the present moment. In this way there is a chain of sinful activities and their concomitant distresses, and the conditioned soul is suffering life after life due to these sins. He is suffering in the present life the results of sinful activities from his past life, and he is meanwhile creating further sufferings for his future life. Mature sinful activities are exhibited if one is suffering from some chronic disease, if one is suffering from some legal implication, if one is born in a low and degraded family, or if one is uneducated or very ugly. There are many results of past sinful activities for which we are suffering at the present moment, and we may be suffering in the future due to our present sinful activities. But all of these reactions to sinful deeds can immediately be stopped if we take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Mistake of modern civilization is that man does not believe in the next life. But whether he believes or not, the next life is there, and one has to suffer if one does not lead a responsible life in terms of the injunctions of authoritative scriptures like the Vedas and purāṇas. Species lower than human beings are not responsible for their actions because they are made to act in a certain way, but in the developed life of human consciousness, if one is not responsible for his activities, then he is sure to get a hellish life. dehino ’smin yathā dehe kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā tathā dehāntara-prāptir Since every living entity is an individual soul, each is changing his body every moment, manifesting sometimes as a child, sometimes as a youth and sometimes as an old man. Yet the same spirit soul is there and does not undergo any change. This individual soul finally changes the body at death and transmigrates to another body; na jāyate na mriyate. Soul is never born, soul never dies. Soul is eternal. Nityaḥ śāśvato 'yaṁ na hanyate hanyamāne śarīre (BG 2.20). Even after the destruction of this body, the soul is not destroyed. The body is not permanent and there are 8,400,000's of different types of bodies. We are transmigrating from one to another. The living entity is covered by two different types of bodies-the gross body and the subtle body. At death we can see that the gross body is finished, but actually the living entity is carried by the subtle body to another gross body. This is going on, because you are eternal. According to your work, you are simply changing your body. Therefore one should be educated on how to stop this business, how to remain in our original, spiritual body. And that is Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. The knowledge given in Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita is the only solution to resolve this big ignorance of the world.
So you are saying that you drunk yesterday and you kill someone and now you forget so do police forget about it ? Wa . and you think u r innocent then why do u r here not going to vaikunth and iin swarg why you have diseases? God is very kind that he not give you that remembrance, when u can't forget past days and u cry over think we remember 1billion life we do , hmm u r gone . its mercy of krsna
Dear,if I harmed you in some way yesterday then does my forgetting the harm today I caused to you yesterday make me unaccountable to you? Will you simply let me go even I harmed you badly or I entirely disappeared from your sight permanently after harming you.I don't think you would wish to let me go after that harm caused. So God is the Supreme Justice and the he enacts justice to every living entity by acting through His material energy.Even if you don't punish me for the harm I caused you,God's laws would ensure that I get punished for that harm caused.Isn't it comforting to you to know that I would get punished if you know for certain that I get punished for that harmful act?Firm faith in Krsna(God) will enable you to come to the state of mind that let me go unpunished by you if you come in God consciousness thinking that he is dull headed and does not know that punishment awaits me in the future and if you come in the purified state of God consciousness then even you would pray to God to excuse me for the harm caused to you(forget about punishing yourself) just like Prahlad Maharaj prayed for His demoniac father Hiranyakashipu to be forgiven for the severe torture caused to himself to Lord Narsinghadev(Krsna) which you can read yourself in the 7th Canto of Srimad Bhagvatam
1. When the seed of a particular tree is sown, the tree does not appear immediately to grow; it takes some time. It is first a small, sprouting plant, then it assumes the form of a tree, then it flowers, bears fruit, and, when it is complete, the flowers and fruits are enjoyed by persons who have sown the seed of the tree. Similarly, a man performs a sinful act, and like a seed it takes time to fructify. There are different stages. The sinful action may have already stopped within the individual, but the results or the fruit of that sinful action are still enjoyed. There are sins which are still in the form of a seed, and there are others which are already fructified and are giving us fruit, which we are enjoying as distress and pain 2.A married girl cannot demand the result of marriage, a child, immediately after marriage , she has to wait for 9 months patiently to beget a child, similarly we can't expect results of our sins immediately, they will fructify in due course of time 3. In Srimad Bhagavad Gita ch13 text 21 it is said कार्यकारणकर्तृत्वे हेतु: प्रकृतिरुच्यते । पुरुष: सुखदु:खानां भोक्तृत्वे हेतुरुच्यते Nature is said to be the cause of all material causes and effects, whereas the living entity is the cause of the various sufferings and enjoyments in this world According to one’s desires and activities, material nature places one in various residential quarters. The living being himself is the cause of his attaining such residential quarters and his attendant enjoyment or suffering. . This material world is a place of suffering, so better find out way to get out of it rather than finding faults in God's laws . When there is fire in the tent then you will first try your best to get out of it rather than researching for the cause of fire . How and why we can get out of the entanglement of this material world can be best understood by reading our scriptures like Bhagvad Gita and Shrimad bhagvatam.
Hare Krishna! Lord Krsna is the most kind. Out of His causeless mercy, He makes us forget whatever sinful activities we did in the past. Had we been knowing what we did in previous lives, we might not be able to live or even function! What more mercy you can ask for, He creates this entire cosmos for us, for the rebellious souls, who are envious of Him and who desire to enjoy His beautiful creation independently without Him. The idea of jail is not punishment but reformation. Similarly, this material world is a place of reformation. The energies of the Lord facilitate this arrangement where in a conditioned soul can fulfil his desires and gradually purify himself by doing his prescribed duties and attain the goal of human birth, i.e. going back home, back to Godhead. Crime is a crime, whether you do it knowingly or unknowingly. The idea behind punishment is not to destroy the sin, but to destroy the tendency of sin. Even after a soul transitions from one lifeform to another, he carries previous samskaras and impressions through his subtle body. Thus, sinful tendencies are also carried forward. Let us utilise this rare form of life where in we can purify ourselves and reach the perfection of human birth. When we chant the holy names of the Lord (Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare.), all sinful tendencies within the heart are destroyed. With continuous practice of devotional service, one gets rid of his anarthas and revives his constitutional position of being the eternal servitor of the Lord and attains his eternal svarupa, which is sat-cit-ananda, full of eternity, knowledge and bliss.
