Today is my 98 yr old mommy's birthday. She was introduced to Christian Science in the mid 1950's. She sent all of her children to Christian Science Sunday School. We were the only black children there and really did not understand why no one that looked like us was there. Although mommy stayed with CS all her physical life....we children walked away yrs, ago. I wanted to do something to honor my mom's memory today, so I decide to listen to this TH-cam presentation. Thank you for gifting me with encouragement to pick up my mommy's CS books and tapes and to begin studying this material with new acceptance and insight. You have presented these things so simplistically, and your explanations resonated a new beginning for me. Thank you so much for this gift on this first time for me to honor my mommy's earth day without her physical presence. May God continue to bless your work
My husband, Ralph, is a black man and he loves C.S. It isn't of skin color but of the Christ. It is a colorless Law of God for all mankind. Good for you an your family. When a thing is true it resonates with us. I am drawn to CS for the spirituality which is.....Love in all things. God is Love. I am His/Her image an likeness, a piece of God. From growing up in CS till today at 74, I maintain a mental picture of a clear shield surrounding me at all times, protecting me.
I had a fire on the stove due to oil in a pan. I burned my hand and arm after the wrist and had 2nd degree burns. I put my hand in ice water to get rid of the pain, and listened to this video over and over until I was able to fall asleep. The burns are almost completely healed. I will continue to listen to this video until the complete healing takes place. Thank you so much for the video, I am truly grateful.

Thanks for posting this talk. I loved the analogy of how we can trust the proven laws of aerodynamics to allow us to trustingly get on an airplane to fly to a desired destination. Likewise all we need to experience spiritual healing is “confidence and conviction in the power of God”. That’s the mental ‘plane’ we need to board to achieve greater harmony in our lives. I’ve boarded that ‘plane’ many, many times in my life so I can say with conviction that (pardon the pun): “It’s the only way to fly”-the only sure way to travel the road of human experience. Thank you, Ms. Moore, for this beautiful lecture. It has really hit a home run for me, as I grew up attending the Christian Science Sunday school and still value Christian Science as being far above rubies or emeralds. Healing is a very deep and wonderous subject to discuss and disperse to eager listeners. I humbly make it honest that I am on the path to spiritual rebirth after waging a violent struggle with the disappointments, trials, and nonsense the world threw at me on a daily basis. Trials may come, but strength is not of matter! I find this lecture as another hefty source of inspiration. These laws of healing can be affirmed for anyone in this world -- anyone, be it family members you might have disagreed with or even politicians that went corrupt. No one is outside of God's ever-presence. In this little poem I composed a few hours ago, I sum it up thus: "Though mortal mind may try to trick the eye, In vain shall it force me to think otherwise: Once I have sown in the soil of Truth the seed, Shall the fowls of the air come snatch it? No, indeed. In one swift movement, Love shall strip away The veil that appears to cover (put name here) face, And bring to light just who (he/she/) truly is: 'You are perfect, you are loved, you are His!' "

Yes, it is all about Truth, Dr. Taylor. Christian Scientists view it as one of the synonyms of God as stated by Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key the the Scriptures. "God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love."
Someone commented that this is one of the best explanations of Christian Science I've ever heard... I agree and I've studied much of Christian Science over the years, lol it may be that the accumulation of truth finally reached the point of destroying ignorance, either way, thank you so very much. This is awesome! In the past two days I have found out my best friends great granma and her sister started the first Christian science church here in Codnor England. Reading documents on the history we found that they started it from within a household with only a handful then they attracted more followers so they needed bigger premises .the premises being the address of the house my best friend lives in!? 😳😀 mental . We have original books here dating back to 1888 🙏 uncanny much ?? Lol coincidence ?? Lol mind blown

This is awesome! In the past two days I have found out my best friends great granma and her sister started the first Christian science church here in Codnor England. Reading documents on the history we found that they started it from within a household with only a handful then they attracted more followers so they needed bigger premises .the premises being the address of the house my best friend lives in!? 😳😀 mental . We have original books here dating back to 1888 🙏 uncanny much ?? Lol coincidence ?? Lol mind blown

Read page 392: "When the condition is present which you say induces disease, whether it be air, exercise, heredity, contagion, or accident, then perform your office as porter and shut out these unhealthy thoughts and fears."
