What an accomplishment, Candy! I always have to remind myself to not only put things down, but to put them away (preferably in their designated spot). oh Candy I have a pile of fabrics too. I just can't get rid of it. LOL. Fabrics and old clothes with pretty colors and patterns. I mean I MAY just use it for something. hihi. Love your bigger painting space by the windows. And I love how your studio has little spaces for different things. How inspiring. ❤️

Wow Candy you've worked incredibly hard on your whole house im on catch up with your videos. Loving the whole process, dont you feel so much better when you've finished. On our last two house moves i decluttered so much stuff and even months before the move itself i thought that should do it and i could just concentrate on packing. But what was i doing the week before the move? I think i did about another 10 trips to the charity shop! I just love stuff! But i felt it pressing in on me so off it went phew xxx
I don't know when you filmed this and I haven't finished it yet. I know someone who stores the reusable bags for the car in the truck of their car, otherwise they never actually remember and use them, so just thought I'd share that incase it might be useful tip for someone.

Thinking about it, I actually find it quite disturbing that it's so normalized that something as temporary as a holiday can completely uproot our entire lives, and how we normally live and take over spaces we otherwise like kept a certain way. Thinking of it like that, it doesn't feel quite right. The holidays we keep are important, and impactful I just feel like there's got to be a way to have them be a more integrated part of our life not something that kind of oozes out and completely takes over everything. You know what I mean? anyways, just some thoughts.
