- Meghalaya in Monsoon | Seven Sisters Waterfall & Mawsmai Caves by Ghosh Babu Adventures - This is the second day of my Meghalaya travel series and today I am going to Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. The total distance from Police Bazar in Shillong to Seven Sisters Waterfall is 56 kms. The road is very scenic from Shillong to Cherrapunji and you will be able to see a lot of tourist attractions on the way like Elephant Falls, Arwah Caves, Wakhaba Falls, etc.
The first spot that I visited was Seven Sisters Waterfall or Nohsngithiang Falls or Mawsmai Falls. Seven Sisters falls is the most famous falls of Cherrapunji with a height of 315 metres or 1033 ft.
After that I went to Mawsmai Caves in Cherrapunjee, which is a magnificent cave system formed out of limestone. Tourists can only cover 150 m inside Mawsmai Cave and the remaining caves are off-limit for the visitors. Mawsmai caves are the only caves in Meghalaya that are well lit and you will not require a guide to explore it. Hats off to Meghalaya Tourism for maintaining all the tourist spots so nicely.

হ্যা আপনি যেতেই পারে, তবে গাড়ি বুক করে যাওয়া ভালো। কঠিন খুব একটা জায়গা নেই, খাওয়া দাওয়াও পেয়েযাবেন সব জায়গাতেই।
