Senior vocalist Vidwan A.S.Murali gave us a delightful concert, reminding us of semmangudi mama style. Commencing with nattai (sarasiruhAsanapriye) , he gave us a beautiful jana ranjani (pahimAm sri rajarajeswari) followed by keeravani (vAnanai madhi soodiya), then came 2 quickies - kannada bangala (rEnukAdevi samrakshitoham& bhAvapriya (srikanta niyeda) he then ventured into an elaborate kambhoji (Aadum deivam). He wound up with sindhu bhairavi (karunai deivame) The bowing support by Vidwan pakkala ramdas was good. His keeravani & kambhoji were worthy of mention. The percussion support by vidwan A.S.Ranganathan & morsing support by vidwan A.S. Krishnan were just too good. 👌 On the whole a lavish treat 🙏
