Actually the multitracks for Bohemian were leaked to the internet a few years ago, I've got a copy somewhere. It's a nightmare to try and piece together.
Hahha for bohemian rhapsody it will take a lot of videos because freddie want it to be perfect so they made a lot of tapes of every part until freddie though that was the right one
God, I wish I was a college student in the late 70s and 80s just to see this man. I would be a total fan girl. Forget the Beatles, this is the real British Invasion. Goosebumps.
@@ImotoriumVLOG Your statement that the Beatles are nothing compared with Queen is so wrong on so many levels. One of their influencers were the Beatles. Freddie said that he liked John Lennon's things. Brian said that the White Album is a complete catalog of how you should use a studio to build songs. The Beatles may not be way above Queen but without them, Queen wouldn't have been as well as they are now. Also, the Beatles aren't just John and Paul. George and Ringo also exist and were key members, idiot. TL;DR: The Beatles inspired Queen and were one of their favorite bands. Choose a different band to pick from, dipshit.
There’s something that just feels so empowering about the line, “I consider it a challenge before the whole human race, and I ain’t gonna lose” to me. Freddie is basically saying that he’s willing to take on a challenge that not even the human race is capable of, and he isn’t going to let anything bring him down. That one line of lyrics just makes the whole song for me. It’s such an uplifting and chilling line, and easily one of the best moments of any Queen song ever in my opinion. The way Freddie sang it here should’ve been kept in the final studio recording, hell, this whole raw version should’ve been kept in the final studio recording. There’s something about raw versions of songs that, while yes, studio recordings tend to strive more for perfect sound, raw versions have more true spirit. Which, in a way, makes them feel more perfect. Queen is the most legendary and unforgettable band of all time, and their spirit will forever live on through the music he, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor have given us.
His most honest and forthright performance, a fitting way to end a show and after that to come on stage to the strains of God Save The Queen wearing a Crown what else? God bless her late Majesty and the mercurial Freddie.
I like these Raw Sessions of Queen especially while listening to it with earphones. I can literally hear everyone playing like John Deacon's bass as well as the band's distinct voices during the harmony part of the song. You can hear some parts of the song that did not made it to the final cut. Just pure uncut version of the song. So awesome!
This version sounds closer to how the band would play the song live (particularly 1980 onwards). I think I prefer this version over the one that made it onto the album, to be honest - it sounds more complete.
best version, definitely. I've paid my dues Time after time. I've done my sentence But committed no crime. And bad mistakes ‒ I've made a few. It's so great they left this sentence at the end :-)
I think I actually prefer this version to the officially released 'famous' version. Freddie's voice is superb and Brian is killing it on guitar.
Right! His voice is more than just great in this one!
Instruments sound better &You can feel the bass more in the album version
I love the guitar in this version
Awesome Adam Yeah in a video I saw while they’re recording the song in the background you can hear John say “more bass please”
