When Rob said "we're jumping ahead here" and Lee said "he's allowed to do that", the guy asking the question, Greg Rutherford, was the reigning Olympic long-jump champion. (Just in-case you missed the joke). Btw, Lee was using a South Wales accent, not Russian.
It's great that you guys appreciate the brilliant Henning Wehn, and of course so much British comedy. Don't know if you are radio listeners but there's a big tradition of radio comedy in the UK, mostly via BBC Radio 4, where many TV comedians started their broadcasting careers in sketch shows, sitcoms, panel games and more. I mention that because the Christmas tree box part of Henning's story reminded me of a line from the legendary Goon Show (1950s!) which was very surreal and a precursor to the likes of Python, where one character paid another with "a picture of a pound note".
Henning is indeed very funny. He is most definitely NOT underrated. "underrated" is the current lazy TH-cam buzzword, used by people that need to buy themselves a dictionary.
I never understood why, in the first clip, Kirsty apparently had never heard of the Interpol missing list. She's a newsreader! She was a news reader when Madeleine McCann went missing. She was very famously on the Interpol missing list. It's like being a chef, and having never heard of saffron. You may not use it every day, but you'll have stumbled across it somewhere!!!
The best Henning Wehn joke I've heard is from Jimmy Carr on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. "In 2015, Henning Wehn did a comedy tour all over the UK. And in 2016 we voted to leave the EU."
Hey guys love the reactions, maybe try a full episode if you can, absolutely love this show! Merry Christmas from Australia and keep up the awesome work 🍻🎄🍻🍻
You likely wouldn't get the reference when the red headed gentleman was reprimanded for jumping the gun, and Lee Mack said he's allowed to do that. The gentleman that said it is Greg Rutherford who won a gold medal at the Olympics for the long jump. He was one of the 3 GB athletes that won gold medals at the 2012 Olympics on a day that has since been dubbed Super Saturday.
When Rob passed Lee the spray and Lee spoke and said 'I don't think you give me the right one' was NOT a Russian accent lads it was WELSH coz ROB passed him the spray coz ROB is WELSH just like myself 🙏

Hennings delivery of comedy is brilliant 😂 He's so good at carrying a story
David Mitchell will always be at is funniest when he is angrily ranting about details that he needs to know. Love him.

Lee's "I think you gave me the wrong one" was a Welsh accent. He was taking the mick out of Rob

My favourite Henning joke:
"No, no - my grandfather died at Auschwitz too - he got so drunk he fell out of the observation tower!"
We all love Henning Wehn in the UK. His comedy is so original. He found a niche in the British media that no other German found!
I saw Henning live at my local theatre a couple of years ago...he was great!

32:52 Welsh accent, which Lee did to joke with Rob with him being both Welsh and an impressionist
The more I see of Henning, the more im convinced he's just British with a Germa accent. 😂😂😂
That guy’s depth perception is unmatched.
love you guys and you mentioned feli from germany...cudos guys
Shaun Ryder was great on WILTY. HAPPY MONDAYS
That sounded Russian ... Actually it was Welsh ;)
and yeah the grimm stories...thats some bad shit!!!
It was Welsh not Russian.
Hi dudes, good to see you again.
Yes love henning! I’m going to harass you to do full taskmaster though it’s the elite of the elite of uk panel shows
Love this so funny
I searched for this exact video two days ago haha
Weird story suggestion. The Ribena scandal.
I didn't know it is international talk like a pirate day.....ar ar ar😂
That's 19 of September.
Guys, when did you post this on Patreon? I've gone back to posts from late summer and still can't find it.
I can't decide if this would work with a US version or does the self deprecation in so many of the stories mean it works uniquely here.
There has been a US version before

Lol, I was thinking he sounded more Welsh than Irish, but didn't make the connection that he was joking. 🤣
@mpmlopes loved this show tbh not sure why they stopped making episodes 🤔 probably because of 'complaints' by the snow flakes

Welsh!
Push pineapple shake the tree...
Have you got a problem with David Mitchell Spence? So many snide comments.
I think Spencer wanted to tell us about his kinky thoughts...
I think you've got a problem with reading people's humour.
sad fool
Henning wasn't even a stand up comedian in Germany, it's not that popular genre there.
Find I can't watch these posts anymore as the writing across the video is too disruptive.
what did you call me @wreckednation ?
